Blog: Fasting Orange Juice Style!!!!
Only two more to go.
Today was awesome. Woke at 7:00 am, let out the chickens, refilled the hummingbird feeder and went and layed back down to do my pranayamic breathing that I do for thirty minutes every day. I actually fell back asleep and had some of the most vivid, clear, dreams I have ever had. It was cool.
So before I forget, I have so many hummingbirds feeding off my feeder that it is already empty after one days use. Time for me to break out the monster feeder I have, lol. I love them little hummers.
Juiced my oranges. Took my bf&c, ginger, and olive leaf capsules. Took my spice 4 life, No Crash, and drank my three drops of oregano oil in water. Took my 1 tablespoon of dewormer this morning and will have my other tablespoon tonight awhile before my plant fats 4 life. Had my two cups of 4 herb tea.
Split some wood and loaded the porch. Took care of the chickens and bunny.
Worked all day outside in the garden. I weeded up two beds by hand and then tilled them as well by hand and then planted 75 strawberry plants that I had transplanted from my fathers earlier in the year. I still probably have 75+ plants to go. I will plant them next week. I will be loaded with those babies this year, God willing.
After all that I came inside and from 5:45 pm to 7:30 pm I worked out. I did my stretching, some pushups, and then hit the weights. I totally blasted my biceps, triceps, and forearms. I will feel that tomorrow, lol. The burn feels good, I know Zach can relate to that one, lol.
I hope you all have a blessed life and weekend and I will talk to ya all later,
Peace....

I already did a 21 days water fast by the past, but i guess it all depends on periods, sometimes it is much easier than others...
And where i am now, im only surronded by delicious vegetarian food and people eating all day, no matter what time you go to have an herb tea..here they are with this or that looking so delicious to me....:)))
Ok, i stop it, sorry......
I am on day 4 though and it's been quite fast up to now, i havent had so down moments..just thinking of food from time to time..a bit too much according to me :/

- Washington State by midge

How can you be doing all that now in Washington? Is the weather you're having normal for this time of year? I live in Michigan and it's only suppose to get to 47* today. And the wind chill is 25*. Washington must be a warmer state than Michigan? Just courious. And what do you farm out there? Corn, beans? Are you in the fields yet tilling or planting?

I have been getting some really nice spring days lately, so I take advantage of them.
I have planted so far strawberries, peas, garlic, beans, and a few herbs.
I will be starting a bunch of seed in the greenhouse this week, I will let you know what I start,
Peace....

Congrats on making it so far/so long! Your life sounds so cool. And nothing is as good as home-grown strawberries!

Thank you so much for the support, it means alot to me.
Yep, I love strawberries straight off the plant, nothing tastes better.
I grow a large percentage of what we eat every year, so as it keeps getting nicer, I will be out in it as much as possible.
Peace....

- maybe something for your ultimite kitchen? by chirontherainbowbridge

I thought you might be interested in this--just heard about it. I cut and pasted from the raw forum. (ugh. sausages!!)
If you have an unlimited budget, or a large one, you might want to look into the Sausage Maker's dehydrators. They are stainless steel (make sure to get the one whose trays are also stainless steel and not the chrome). They have a knob on the outside to adjust the heat, and a thermometer for the inside so you know exactly what temperature it really is. I intend to get one of these when I get back to the USA in a few years; I was forced to get the Excaliber due to shipping issues. If you do decide to go with the Sausage Maker, look on their web site for product descriptions, but surf the web to find a better price, since you can save a bit of $ by ordering from a third party who will sell below MSRP but still give you the same warranty.
hope you are well
C.

Sorry to say, I have a very limited budget to work with. My wife is the bread winner for us and we are paycheck to paycheck. If I didn't rent out the few storage bays that I do I would have no extra money to spend on MH's goodies and raw food stuff.
I did save up and get a 9 tray Excaliber dehydrator and I must say, it rocks. Seems I always have something going in that baby, lol.
Thanks for the thought though,
Peace....
