Blog: 40 Days To Life
Well, here's the situation. I won't be released to go back to work for another two weeks at least. Since I still cannot stand up or walk without support that's fine. However, I am broke and the brakes need fixing on my car. I could not find anyone who would be willing to fix the brakes for free, I would buy the shoes. So I'll need to get a mechanic. I sold some stock today, that's from my retirement fund, but it will take 7-10 days to get the check. So I will be spending next week at home, no therapy, no shopping, nothing. I'll call Doc. and explain the situation, but for now I am trying to work out an at home program. I can do the neck traction and stretches, and I have enough Nettakinase and Disc Guard to last for most of the week.
I'll do some dry skin brushing, keep drinking the distilled water and green drinks, and hopefully will not go back wards. In a way I am glad to stay at home, I'm not one to be on the go all the time, but I don't want to undo all the good. I can tell I am slowly improving, the pain is not nearly as bad except at night. I am also moving a little more smoothly, I just need to get back the strength in my legs.

Dear Hopinso,
I enjoy your posts & search them out every day. Your knowledge & willingness to share is so appreciated.
May I ask whether you have an opinion on citrus & arthritis flareups? I cannot go beyond 1 1/2 days on the lemon juice cleanse due to severe arthritis pain. Thankfully, it clears up as soon as I stop the citrus.
Thank you so much for any help.

I really don't know about this. I have had intense pain when trying to do the Master Cleanse, but, I can eat whole oranges everyday without a problem. It might not be the citrus at all, my Naturopath says that any simple sugar will create inflammatory responses, so it may be the Maple syrup. He says that whole fruits are fine because the fiber slows down the absorption of the sugars, but juices and simple carbs like white bread, sodas, and candies create inflammation. I don't know if this is the answer, but it makes sense. I can tell you that I am craving all kinds of bad things right now, all sweet, fatty, and salty.
Perhaps you can either do a raw cleanse or use non-sweet fruits and veggie juices if you want to fast.
