There are two strands of challenge here, of difficulties in doing this (well, not counting social) - the physical and the psychological. We must provide for ourselves physically, fine-tune our liquidarianism so that it is supportive of health. No point doing this just to "be extreme". We must find an intersection between things we've read from "health gurus" and other raw-foodists, and the things we know about our own body or body-mind, what things work, what things are too heavy, too much trouble, too likely to lead to bingeing, etc. We must figure out what elements of nutrition our body-mind will (we think) thrive on, and then make sure that we tailor our liquidarianism around that. For me right now a priority is acid/alkaline balance. I want to feel strength and I want to feel simple happiness in being alive. An acid body can't do either. An acid body is tired and overhelmed, can't face the day or feeling anything. Shuts down to everything. Anything do right now has to attend to that part, my real biochemistry and physical needs for lots of powerhouse minerals and enzymes.

Then there's the much more difficult and way scarier psychological challenge. The voice saying "I can't do this" the first few days is psychology - the psychology of wihdrawal, no doubt.

When you go liquidaian, you are in effect promising that you will feel your feelings. Even fruitarianism very effectively allows you to stuff your feelings down by stuffing down some fresh juicy fruit. I've never known juice to work that way. You can't "hide" in juice. You have to be open to the pain of really feeling whatever comes up, all that discomfort you think you will die from it. That's why my body is screaming right now, "Can't we do something else? Do we really HAVE to do this? Surely we can do something else..." But when I wasn't doing this, when I was drugged with food, this seemed like the only thing to do. The only thing that would work and really feel good. Yesterday I _wanted_ to do this, needed to.

So I'd better go make my green drink and stop yapping.

I support you. I wish you peace, love and happiness.

I apologize, but I am going to step out. Spirit is informing me that I have health and emotional challenges to face, and due to my issue with the 'feeling' of 'restriction', I am going to embark on a different path in order to prepare myself to become Liquidarian and beyond.

Thank you for your understanding. These past hours have brought many important insights that I choose to follow, and desire to soothe.

I support you. I love you. You are absolutely gorgeous, inside and out.

      Best wishes always,
      ~Papillon
