Introduction

My reasons for doing this.

Once again I find myself in familiar territory, the CureZone.  Unlike my previous ventures in this arena doing the Master Cleanse (http://curezone.org/blogs/f.asp?f=817), this time around I intend to strictly focus on weight loss in order to achieve my goal of losing 63 pounds. 

I started this program on December 28 and will continue for the foreseeable future.  I will post weekly updates regarding my progress and perhaps along the way inspire others to jump on board and drop a few pounds.  One of the reasons I'm doing this blog is that I discovered when doing the MC, that blogging helps to keep me honest and focused on my goals.  Additionally, I see so many posts out there that think that fasting or cleansing is a quick path to weight loss.  Unfortunately it's not and you end up gaining it all back and then some if that is your only plan of action. 

Later, I will post my starting statistics as well as the week one results and will provide details about my diet and exercise plan that I am incorporating to attain my goal.
