Date: 2/5/2014 9:20:40 AM ( 10 y ) ... viewed 1006 times 2014 is the year I change my life. I have been allowing myself to suffer from chronic illness and parasitism for years, and this is the year I fight back with everything I have.
I have lupus and all that goes along with it: chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, brain fog, thyroid problems, kidney problems and more. I also have a strongyloides stercoralis infection, which will be with me all my life. These two may not be curable, but they are treatable.
This year, I am changing everything from diet to exercise to treatment methods. I'm not giving up on natural treatments for my strongyloides, but I'm embracing the pharmaceutical route because I truly believe that I need it at this time until I can rebuild my immune system.
I want to document my journey, the successes and failures, so that others can learn from what I do and try new things to make themselves more healthy. Join me on my journey by following my blog.
