ICU's strongyloides protocol
Date: 3/5/2014 4:45:41 PM ( 10 y ) ... viewed 7626 times I don't know what is going on on the right side of my head, but something is. There is a sore on my top gum where something evidently exited and ripped it open. I have pains from that spot up into my head every time I take albendazole, and my right eyelid occasionally twitches. This is the side where I had the squigglies in my eye. I don't feel them anymore, but there are shooting pains in the sinus over that eye.
I always have joint pain on my right side when I take ABZ. I really hate this stuff. Last night my gut burned so badly I couldn't sleep, even after taking Aleve for the pain. If it does that again tonight, I'm done with the albendazole. It seems like if it was going to kill anything of importance, it would have done it the first two weeks. All it does now is cause me pain.
I really cannot stand eating this fat. I think that is part of what is making me so sick when I take the albendazole, because I don't feel bad at all on the Iver. The scheduling is still difficult for me too.
I don't understand why I have not passed any large ascaris. My cat definitely has them, because she throws up and passes long casings. She sleeps with me, so I should have them too. It seems like they would be dying by now, but I've only seen what looked like a few small pieces, although I feel something like a writing ball at times when I take the ABZ at night.
I'm just tired of taking these meds, especially with no guidance from anyone as to what to do when they make me feel this bad. I'm ready to give up now, but I'm so weak I feel like if I quit, I will go back into hyperinfection and die.
I'm very depressed.
