Criticism and Evaluation
one word may completly change one'slife
Date: 3/7/2005 11:05:03 AM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 1199 times It’s amazing to know that just one word separate positive healthy development (Evaluation) from Self-Distraction and Snobbism reality (Criticism).
On 1980 I have taken a class called Formative Evaluation and public administration – Political Sciences, MA studies.
My 36years old professor had strange arrangement with a new African Country, he plaid the rule of their foreign minister 6-month and in-between flights he taught us one semester.
I guess one of his targets were to built a 5 years strategy toward business, economy, administration development and he considered it wise to let us deal with that, Formative Evaluation.
We began from a point of having no professional-qualify local people to take over the need jobs
We than planed educational programs and step by step progressing method.
At no point we criticize the local people the South African government that gave them so called independence without pre-education, we had a job to do – to evaluate that present state of being and provide a moderated method toward progress.
Those 5 years programs that each of us planed had re-evaluation time-table – not criticism time-table, rather a plan to see how it been manifested and then to plan either to slow, rush of maintain that plan with or without additional issues to consider.
Criticism on the other hand it a stage that some one is looking at a person, an act of some other issue with an eye to look at the faults and none-success and then whatever happen may happen.
If a person has a habit to criticize one-self they may fall into a trap of pessimism, not being able to accept one-self and love one-self – which very often are an essential foundation stone toward self-manifestation and self-success.
If some one criticize another person they appear to be ‘better’ or ‘know better’ or be in a higher status which means that they look downwards to the person they criticizes.
A society may often uses the mean of criticism to pullback the successful members yet not the ruling ones in the group.
Criticism is a mean of interest group to shade the true independent power of the individual talented people within the group.
It is used this way to prevent the knowledge that they do not need that related-interest-group, they may leave the group to suffer the missing of the talents or products that they can get from such person while he is not aware of his gifts.
People very often use criticism as a sward – more painful than a real sward due to the fact that the wounds of criticism are carried on while wounds of sward may heal in no time.
When one approaches life with a tendency to evaluate their life purposes o work or targets or… it is the healthy and supportive approach.
If a person give the power of criticism to the many or to oneself and live under that umbrella their blossom may be lost.
