Master Cleanse and Me. Day 5 Begins

Date: 3/24/2005 10:26:07 AM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 2292 times Slept like a baby again last night although I did have to get up and go to the bathroom at around 4. At least it was only the one time and then I was done. Last night I only steeped the Yogi tea for 4 minutes. The night before I had spaced it out and it ended up steeping for around 10 minutes. Couple that with drinking it so early (8:00 PM) and there you have it...a recipe for disaster. Live and learn, right?
SWF did NOT sit well with me this morning. Made me instantly queasy but that feeling dissipated, thankfully. This was the first not-perfect reaction to it and I am cool with it. It works and that's all I care about!
Am just so cold, so cold. I had to wear a coat inside at my work yesterday. This morning finds me fairly bundled up with the thermostat in the house set at 74 (it's prolly around 58 outside, cold for me, not cold for most). Am cold all day long. Wish I could have some ginger tea on this cleanse as that would warm me up right away. Didn't know about this side effect, but here it is.
Am suddenly losing weight, which is not one of my reasons to do the cleanse. And it's only day 5. Just have to up my intake of maple syrup and realise that once I eat solid food I should gain a little back. Although, I am now starting to like my body a little smaller. I am not a big person (only 5'4")and small boned, so a little weight in either direction makes a difference.
Not hungry (as usual) this morning. Although if the past few days on the cleanse are any indication, I should be hungry by night. My tongue isn't as coated as yesterday, my sinuses feel clear, am passing mucousy looking stuff (more than you wanted to know, am sure) and I think I am at the right stage for day 5. Would like to do this until my tongue goes pink as that seems to be the indicator of when to stop (when detox is done). Wonder how long it will take me to do so.
J is impressed with my dedication and says he is going to do the cleanse on his 2 weeks off this summer. I would definitely do this again and if his vacation is around the Solstice, it would be perfect. "Where did you go on your vacation?" "To Poop Land."
