Day 10
Sinus problems are getting me down..

Right this minute, I am satisfied with my decision to continue for at least another 4 days beyond my initial goal of 10. I wasn't too sure as I went to bed early last night with stronger cravings than I've had for several days, but my tummy feels fine now, not gurgly and growly.
I'm up because my sinuses are killing me. Which, in a way, is a good thing....I have been prone to sinus infections throughout my life, and suspected food allergies. Now that I'm experiencing an infection after going without food for 10 days, I am pretty sure it's the airborne allergies causing the problems, and they are more easily controlled.
I just rinsed out my sinuses using the neti pot, added 1/3 tsp. of hydrogen peroxide for good measure, and am going to try to go back to sleep. At some point later in the day I will try a hydrogen peroxide flush.
I don't know if organic limes are just not in season, or not generally available anyway, but I couldn't find any at either Whole Foods or HEB Central Market...I must remember to check out the co-op to see what they have going on this week. I passed by a roadside produce stand yesterday that claims to have fresh cane syrup, which, according to Master Cleanser author Stanley Burroughts, is preferable to the Grade B maple, so I am going to check them out tomorrow, too.
