Health has never been a concern for me until very recently and now, like most other things I get interested in, it has become an obsession.
A little background: I am a 33 year old male, junk food connoisseur. Until this past January, I had smoked a pack of cigarettes a day for the past 10 years. Quitting smoking greatly improved my self-esteem and more than anything else led me here to CureZone. I've been lurking here for a while, learning A LOT about all sorts of aspects of alternative health, and getting ready for a major lifestyle change.
The plan is to use my newly rediscovered will power to transform my diet and hopefully my body into something resembling 'healthy'. What that is, I don't know, but I do know that what it is presently, is most definitely unhealthy.
I am in fair shape right now, being that there is nothing seriously wrong with me, but if I’m afraid that if I continue with my current lifestyle it won't be long until I come down with something. Unfortunately, diabetes and heart disease run in my family, so I really can’t continue to eat SAD into oblivion. I have to become conscious of what I’m putting into my body and so BAM! Here I am, off to boot camp..
