To Be or Not

The funds allocated to war and conflict must be channeled into the research and development of strategies and technologies that will allow humanity to survive the massive changes in the Earth's weather patterns.
Whether these changes are due to human interaction with the environment, or an evolution of our planet's life, due to cosmic events beyond our knowledge, the fact is clear that we must strive together as One in order to ensure the survival of the human race, as well as much of the mammilian and plant life of our Home.
The agenda of conquest by force is obsolete and unless we acknowledge that as fact and take measures to rectify it, we too will be obsolete. There will be no resources to compete for.
Governments must be brought to awareness and action in this matter and it is up to those who care enough to bring it to their attention, and to continue to do so, until there is positive action.
The petty squabbles and arguments between religions, races and nations must be eradicated, once and for all, for we now have a common enemy that threatens our very existence; extinction.
The days of war are done and our childhood must be left behind for the adult to survive.
May our days be filled with peace and our nights abound in restful slumber.
