End of Day 5
Day 5 ends with me hiding from homemade apple pie...
Date: 2/25/2006 12:17:02 AM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 1783 times Well, made it through another day. Now I have 9 left. Today was not a great day, although it started pretty well. By 9:30 a.m. I was SO tired. Couldn't sleep, but I was able to do some work from the couch today. I even folded some laundry SLOWLY while watching a movie with my 12 yr old son.
By mid-afternoon, the bad headache had returned. Hopefully it will be gone tomorrow. Also, my Smooth Move tea worked every hour or two right up until 3pm. No tea tonight! I have to be out of the house for hours tomorrow, and nowhere near a restroom. I'll have to do an enema before my shower in the morning.
I have reached my favorite part of my fast. I can't "cheat" without suffering from this point on. If I want something bad enough, I'd have to break the fast w/OJ, etc., and wait for it. If I can wait a few days, I can wait a few weeks. So I can talk myself out of my cravings MUCH easier from this point on. And I'm used to not eating now. No more almost licking my fingers, etc.
Tonight my 7 yr old daughter and I made a homemade apple pie. It was so much fun to watch her. We used store bought crusts, but did the rest ourselves. It was her first pie, and boy did it smell/look good. That's why I'm in my room typing right now. Had to leave while they dug in!
I'll be going to bed soon. Still sleepy, and feeling hungry tonight, even though I had plenty of lemonade. The cayenne has been burning my chapped lips, but I'm getting used to the hotter shots. Tomorrow is another day! That's all for tonight....
