First Day is almost over.
My 2nd long fast of the year. This will be a journal of my experience.
Date: 10/23/2006 11:30:58 PM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 1446 times Cool I made it! My 2nd (hopefully) long fast of the year! I went 16 days not too long ago. I was hoping to make it to 20 days, but I bailed out for reasons that I won't go into now.
I had a good day. I prepared some juice several days ago and it was still good enough for consumption.
I was meaning to start fasting this weekend, but we had a wedding reception to go to on Friday night then a dinner Saturday for the post wedding reception celebration. The food served at the wedding reception was very good. So glad I decided to partake in the celebration. I over ate at the dinner on Saturday and could hardly believe how lethargic I was @ 9:00pm that night! OMG, it was awful! I didn't over eat that much, I thought. I'm sure it was the meat. (maybe) I dunno, but I think food is so overated. Except for fresh fruits and veggies of course!!
I took a break from work today and napped for about 45 minutes. It felt soo good to get a little extra rest. I'm certainly ready for bed now however! I'm looking forward to sleep. I love the rest that fasting induces! It's truly amazing and something I look forward to!
Feels so good to be over the hump of the first day!
I'd like to make this a super duper long detox fast. I'll think about it and articulate my goals tomorrow!
