Day 6
A nice happy day, some flu symptoms, but overall feeling great.
Date: 7/28/2007 11:12:22 AM ( 17 y ) ... viewed 2133 times Yesterday evening I got a bit of an itchy throat, a bit like on my first fast when I "accidentally" drank the cup of hot chocolate. I actually got the sensation earlier this fast when I drank my vege juice too strong but it passed. Yesterday I got rid of the feeling by drinking a couple of cups of the fast tea. But just like said in the Vogel guide, I haven't been able to drink my juices as srong now that the fast is getting closer to its end. I can't remember this happening last fast. Then again there's probably a difference between store-bought and home-made juices, as our fruit juice I made with mum and a lovely pineapple-apple-pink grapefuit juice I made today haven't caused the burning sensation.
Today I also got a bit of a runny nose, but that was easily fixed, and might have been because of the cool breeze outside. I've also been mentally more alert and interested today and late yesterday than any other day so far which is excellent, but as a counteract I went to the shopping centre today and forgot what I was going to do next a couple of times. It really bummed me out to blank out like that, even deep breaths, that usually bring me back any lost thought, didn't work this time.
Later on today I started experiencing very slight dizziness for a while in the shops, so I sipped some of my Molkosan water I had brought with me, and hurried home. I took a nice short bike ride around my childhood town which was very delighting, I definitely have to go again tomorrow and take heaps and heaps of photos!
Maybe I'm being too analytic again, but now that I've been sitting here at the computer for quite a while I also had this uncomfortable itch "downstairs", a faint irritated feeling like when I used to get trush after antibiotics. If I'm not imagining, maybe this could be one of the "reverse symptoms", diseases and old discomforts backing out off me? I sure hope so! And if that's the case, it surely makes me want to keep on going with the fast to see what other symptoms and ailments I can rid off me, but then again I really can't finish the fast on Monday morning and just start again when I'm properly prepared and motivated. In that state I would probably be able to do two weeks easy.
I've been having a bit of a trouble with my douching, it's been hard to get in at times, partly probably because I've increased the amount of water first from 1 litre to 1,25, and now 1,5. We'll see how it goes, I'll probably do the douching a couple of times next week as well, just to make sure things will keep on passing smoothly.
Oh, and during this fast I've experienced the cold hands and feet, but that was to be expected anyway, right?
