You are probably going to have to contact the chiropractor.

I've had some of those "adjustments" and seemed okay. I have a chiropractor I really like and who is quite reputable.

A guy I work with is also a Rolfer. They work on connective tissue. They don't do chiropractic adjustments. My rolfer usually does a very nice job loosening up my stiff back when I strain my lower back. He does not work directly on the strained area but on the stiff surrounding areas.

It is common for people to say they feel "looser", like a well oiled machine that moves so easily.

This may be an alternative for you.
