Many shared photos using the hashtag #WeddingDressWednesday to help raise money for the Irish Cancer Society.  The campaign was organised by Irish radio station Today FM as part of its new Dare to Care charity campaign. It involves members of the public taking on dares as the ultimate show of care for people battling cancer. Today FM urged as many people as possible to get involved in Wedding Dress Wednesday: “Basically, we want you to drag that wedding dress out of the back of the press, get it cleaned and wear it again (and get people to sponsor you a few bob to do it to make up for the shame of it all!) “Wear it to work or whatever you'll be doing on Wednesday 21st of Sept.
