eft, basement wall dream
Date: 10/11/2005 12:58:25 PM ( 21 y ) ... viewed 2166 times A dream this morning: DH and I are in the basement of our house. I go over to the outside wall and it begins to fall over on me. Then the cement part start to fall over. DH is curious and aware, but doesn't do much. Both parents are there but also don't do much. I see water dripping in from the rafters and pipes. Sometimes there is no floor and you can see clear up to the roof. All of the walls in the basement are started to fall and separate from the foundation. I realize I'm going to have to move all of the stuff down there upstairs until I get it repaired. I feel anxiety about how we will pay for the repairs and who can do it and how fast it can be done.
I go upstairs to call someone. I have the name, I look in several phone books but can't find the name. My grandma and g-aunt are there too, but don't help much. I never get the person phoned. I wake up and am so grateful it was a dream!
Then after reading some on the dream interrpretation site, I think its a good dream. Because I can't get anyone on the phone, or anyone to help means that I need to be self-reliant and handle things by myself.
The house is myself. The basement is my unconscious or intuition. That there is lots of stuff there means there is alot of "stuff" in my unconsious mind. That the wall are falling down is that obstacles are falling down in my unconsious mind. I think that's a good thing.
But an important point is that the inner walls, and foundation were fine and secure.
In yoga class today we did tapping specifically for constricted breathing. It helped about half the class. Me and one other person did not feel any difference.
Tapping more with SM. Specifically for feeling alone and she described it as an all-encompassing feeling surrounding her. The bounddary began to feel less sharp around the edges and she felt more peace about the situation as we tapped. We tapped about 5 times around. I feel I am improving on finding the right words and having them come smoothly out of my mouth.
I didn't have to "think" about what to say, it came out very quickly. I think this improves with practice and time and confidence. Maybe that's an obstacle that I'm overcoming.....
