You want 99.9999% pure silver, get a certificate with it, proving its 4/9 silver.
If you make silver with nickle in it, you'll probably die.

As far as how to make: You nee at least 27volts thats 3 nine volt batteries connected in series. Attach the 2 silver rods to pos/neg aligator cilps and lower the rods into water making sure that at least 75% of rods are submerged! Do not let the rods touch eachother else you will kill your batteries FAST! Let the rods sit in "Distilled" water for about an hour for 16oz glass. Remove rods stir water with plastic spoon. your done!
