good morning.... i thought i'd share my experience here with hopes too inspire anyone that may be feeling like they 'can't do it!'.... because you can...I know you can!!!
my 1st cleanse was in dec. and due to the holidays i was only able to do 18days, and yet from 1st learning about the MC, i was very intrigued with wanting to complete 40days which was my intention for this time around.
i began on march20th and found it very easy to do (following the Cleanse exactly from SWF (Salt-Water-Flush)
every morning and tea at night etc.) never experiencing any detox symptons until day29 when i had a bit of a stomach thing going on and soooooo very tired! but that lasted just the 1day and other than that i must say i thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.
now i did not go the full 40days.... i had to stop last friday which was day 37.... i was struggling with the thought and the actual making of each drink and could not see me enjoying the last 3days just to say i completed a 40day cleanse....after such a pleasurable experience i wanted to be sure and end it the same way!
my exercise has been every other day of 40minutes on the treadmill....and CoreSecrets dvd using the ball and handweights along with rebounding throughout the day which i wish i did more of and commiting even still do doing more of it now....(it seems with something so easy to do -- i don't do!!!????).... i know the benefits of rebounding and would like to be doing even 5minutes at a time 10X a day!...so simple to do!
about 1/2 way thru the cleanse was when i 1st heard of skin brushing and that i have been doing daily and believe that has made a huge difference in so many ways... by taking the time to do this daily has really brought me to love my body like i have never felt before....it has really brought my attention to wanting to take care of and look after and treat my body like it deserves to be treated (which of course) is now being even more aware of continuing on with feeding it right and exercising it too....
just a few things overall that i learned about myself during the Master-Cleanse
have been -
that it isn't food that i 'need'... when my body is fed properly it craves nothing and needs nothing.... all the needs and wants that i think i need are only to fill a need relating to something else that i have going on emotionally..... because of how during the cleanse i was drinking drinks thruout the day is now something i look forward to continuing on with by eating 'snacks' thruout the day knowing how important it is to be feeding your body something nutritional on a regular basis... along with this is coming to realize that (me and my body) deserve to be treated and respected this way and i'd say that this has really given me the kick start i needed and the mindset i needed to be moving forward towards much better health and feeling and looking good!
i know many people do 10days and people have to to what they feel is best for them....yet if i can say anything that i truly feel will help - which is to be doing a long enough cleanse that will allow for you to see what and where your habits are and once a habit can be changed with the MC, you can then bring that same habit into your everyday life afterwards ---- instead of what happens to many people is they go right back to their same old habits and nothing changes.
so today is now day 5 of breaking the cleanse... i did 3days of o.j.... o.j and soup yesterday and this morning enjoyed a well balanced very nutritional shake that i've been taking for a couple of years and will have soup for lunch and more o.j in between and i'm feeling really good and i'm also thrilled to say my bowels are working which was a bit of a concern i was having simply because of not 'eating' for so long BUT...it's all good and I'm well on my way to the positive changes I've been wanting to make!
i thank everyone here for your support --- insights and the questions others have asked that i've been able to learn from just by reading posts on here. i wish you all much success on your journey and know... that you can do it! you can make those changes you're so deserving of! you are worth it!
