I have heard that distilling leaves behind heavy metals where as the RO filters get it out. The acidic comment may be isolated...Not sure.

I posted below. I did finally get some Prill beads and use my RO water to make the Prill water. I have posted on Andreas Moritz ' site about this. The water tested very alkaline, and I could tell some differences in the way I felt almost immediately. I have had a problem with my feet hurting when I first get out of bed in the a.m. and off and on throughout the day, even when I have sedentary jobs. Drinking the Prill water seems to make my feet and my whole body feel better. So I guess I was just running too acidic, because I drank lots and lots of RO water everyday, especially after reading Batmanghelidj's book, Your Body's Many Cries For Water.

Whichever way you go, just make sure that you don't acidify too much, and preferably alkalize your body.

I'm totally new to the board. My father was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer (metastasize to lymph nodes and bone)in June. His PSA was 214. Conventional doctors gave him no alternatives other than Lupron shots. He was interested and willing to go on Schulze's Incurables program. I got him a juicer and a distiller. I also did a ton of research on alternative cancer cures. In addition to the Incurables program, he is on a red clover tea and tincture, chaparral tea and tincture, and graviola capsules and tincture. In six weeks, his PSA dropped to 1.8, his prostate shrunk considerably and the texture went from a cancerous hard to soft. Results have been remarkable.

Back to the distiller.... you mentioned the RO water being acid. I had assumed that distilled water would be about 7.0 pH. Last week, my father tested the pH of the distilled water and found that it was 5.4. That shocked me. As I studied further, I found that disolved carbon dioxide often acidifies distilled water. Since it is a gas and not a mineral, it can still acidify the distilled water. Has anyone else had any experience with this?

Not sure if you've seen the new WOZ4, it says that it sterilizes water and I was wondering if I could get this in lieu of the water distiller.

PS: I have never received a reply re: the specs for the glass chamber water distiller.
