Muscle Cramps and twitches...

Everything is going fine with the P&B but I have noticed I am getting a lot of muscle cramps and twitches. This morning I woke up at 5am with my right calf in a cramp, my middle toe joined in the fun. After massaging for several minutes it backed off. I didn't have them before the P&B and they are getting more frequent. My right eye twitched for 8 hours straight last week. I think this is a mineral deficiency so I started taking a liquid mineral supplement this morning. But I am no nutritionist.
Does the Bentonite wipe out your stores of minerals? Anybody else have this problem?
And can anybody recommend some minerals? The ones I got state "no added lead/mercury" - does this mean that there IS lead and mercury in there, but they haven't 'added' any extra? Sheesh...

Ok, I found the answer, it's a lack of calcium, the most vital mineral used by the body. It's needed to process zinc and magnesium also. I gave up dairy over a month ago and probably dont eat enough green vegetables. The thing is, I must really be depleted. I missed the signs along the way, today my bones are aching and muscles are tight. I read that the body leaches calcium from the bones when there isn't enough in the diet, I can literally feel the leaching from my bones! So I am thinking of giving up the P&B until I get my mineral balance back, which is a bugger as I was just getting going on it. Any nutritionists out there? I will add cheese to my diet, eat more greens but I think I need a high dose supplement straight away.

Calcium: yogurt,greens(dark greens)broccoli is best,almonds(calcium and magnesium),sesame seeds(put em in your oatmeal)

I eat at least 1/2 cup of almonds every day.(they taste great) Not only are they high in magnesium and calcium,but they are high in omega 6 fatty acids. This is the type of fat you want to satisfy your fat cravings with. Also you need omega 3&6 to metabolize hydrogenated fats (bad fats).

I am not a nutritionist.
However, years ago I developed a twitch of my eye. I took B6 it went away. It came back a few years later, again I took B6 and again it went. ( At the time I was going through tremendous stress. I read the B6 cure from some book, can't rember which.)

I was also reading about the B6 today, works with calcium, magnesium and zinc. I will try it.

Someone once told me that Bentonite leaches minerals, but I have never been able to find any research or additional sources to support this. Nevertheless, I think it's a good idea to take liquid minerals including trace minerals...especially if you're doing a cleanse. I've had slight muscle twitching before and it disappeared when I started using them.
