I've been lurking on the CureZone Forums for a few years now and noticed there is not much on here regarding air stones/ozone diffusers that people are using. I've finally signed up to get this question answered, so here goes my first post.
I would like to know what type of ozone diffuser (air stone) are you all using to ozonate your water?
The stone that came with my ozone generator produces fairly large bubbles and I would preferably like to source a diffuser that produces tiny bubbles.
Depending on the type of glass used I can get poor surface coverage to excellent. I've noticed that if I was to use a cylinder type glass the bubbles barely touch all of the surface however when using a tall 'pilsner' beer glass which is narrow at the bottom and wider at the top the bubbles seem to fill the whole glass, albeit large ones.
I've read that the smaller the bubbles the better. I've got a rather basic China built generator that I sourced from eBay, nothing flash but it gets the job done for ozonating water. I have a feeling that the 600mg/h claim is a little exaggerated. Anyone else using the same unit as me? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/New-600mg-Ozone-Generator-Water-Air-Sterilizer-Ozonize...

The smaller and more bubbles you have the better because of increased surface area. The deeper the water the better as the bubbles will have to travel through the water further. The colder the water the more it will absorb O3 - Ozone also.
If you can smell the strong odor of ozone coming out of your machine it should be good enough. - Re: what type of ozone diffuser(air ... ozoneman

I've had a bit of experience with a lot of different diffusers. I think the blown glass and stainless steel diffusers are the best because of the small bubble size. Try to find a good blown glass diffuser. Almost impossible. The smaller the bubbles, the more pressure is required to produce them and the quicker impurities will clog the pores of the diffuser. Some inexpensive air-fed ozonators will not produce enough pressure to use a stainless steel 2 micron or less diffuser while most oxygen concentrators or oxygen tank/regulators have no problem blowing through even a .5 micron stainless diffuser.
The diffusers in the link you sent are good ones-very ozone resistant but not really very small bubbles compared to a 2 micron stainless.

That was a great help, just curious as to whether you are able to point me in the right direction as to a good place to get a 2 micron stainless diffuser online.
What type of glass are you using? As Johny Apple Bomb states, the taller the better, hence my use of a pilsner glass. What would be even better though is something that's almost in the fashion of a test tube that holds at least 200mls of water to saturate it completely, maybe then a diffuser may not be so important.- Re: what type of ozone diffuser(air ... ozoneman

I use a gallon jug with a small neck. Obviously a tall glass like used for a yard of ale would be the best since a long column is preferable, but I don't get too concerned. The airflow from the diffuser creates enough movement of water to eventually contact every water molecule so I think the type of container becomes a moot point. I still think the smaller the diffuser pore size, the better contact with water molecules. You can get glass graduated cylinders from scientific places that are long and narrow if you're still concerned about having a column for ozonation.

This is a reply to # 1,325,932I read about drinking ozone water and it states that a glass diffuser is better than stone because later on the stone breaks down and you have impurities in the water
