I am intrigued... I bet they have to be applied topically as a wash.

They did give away a hint though, it sounds like it has the same properties as table salt at its melting point. Only this is at room temp.

Milk of magnesia at a pH value of 9 - 10 is found to work too... cheap stuff.

I would be cautious of the coming acidic ionic solutions though; pH of 5... they work too apparently, however, these tend to be very bad for healthy cells.
