Hi,
i discovered the article about tea tree oil by Wikipedia.

According to the American Cancer Society: "Tea tree oil is toxic when swallowed. It has been reported to cause drowsiness, confusion, hallucinations, coma, unsteadiness, weakness, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach upset, blood cell abnormalities, and severe rashes. It should be kept away from pets and children.
Oh my God. They even say it can kill your cat !!!
BUT i really dont know how i survived until now after 3 month of ingesting tea tree oil. I never had issues related to tea tree oil ingestion. Actually, it is even more harmless than the medicine like Diflucan cause there are Candida Die Off symptoms than any other things i tried like H202, Garlic, Olive Leaf.

Actually i got the same die off symptoms eating 4 garlic cloves in a raw or drinking a glass of water with 5 drops of tea tree oil. So that s why i prefer ingesting tea tree oil. I know those symptoms. Those are skin Rash, muscle cramp, scalp itching, Chest itching. Those symptoms occurs at the same location using garlic or Tea Tree oil. And they are less and less powerful as time goes by.
It is crazy the number of things you can read over the internet today. Nothing is proven but they say: It is toxic.
So i d like to remind something, Alcohol is toxic too, Cigarette is Toxic...etc...etc...
So just to tell. I ve taken lots of things in my life. And when i take a glass of water with 6 drops of Tea tree oil NOTHING happens right away. I dont have any kind of dizziness or any side effect related to it.

This is a reply to # 1,412,735I meet more and more herbalists that show even more greed than conventional spin off doctors, I saw some herbalists, go to great legths to conseal from their patients that they have a CANDIDA issue, so the patients would not initiate self treatment. At the same time these herbalists treated their patients Candida only mildly, as to ENSURE CONTINUED VISITS. This happens all over the nation actually. If you do not educate your self about candida and everything health, your pocket will be decimated, there are not too many true at heart doctors around to find. You must become knowledgeable your self

This is a reply to # 1,412,732I can't respond to ingesting TTO, but I do know it can be an irritant when applied topically. After using it to rid myself of a wart, I compounded my problem by developing dermatitis around the wart area -- blisters, rash, itching -- for two weeks. Apparently, a small part of the population reacts to TTO in this way.
(My reaction may be due to having candida overgrowth, which makes one more susceptible to chemicals.)
To test any essential oil: apply a small dot of oil to the inside of the upper arm, wait 24 hours. If there is no reaction, you can safely use it.
Many essential oils need to be first diluted with a carrier oil, like almond or coconut.

This is a reply to # 1,412,782My local herbalist told me I must never take tea tree oil or any essential oils orally. I use tea tree oil out of the bottle for minor skin irritations/external use but always dilute it first. I had also been using it on my cat for a skin condition but then my vet mentioned tea tree oil and all essential oils are toxic to cats (its something to do with their livers being unable to process the oils I think he said and that it had an accumlative effect). Maybe you can get away with taking it orally for a short while but perhaps the toxic effects buiild up...I dont know but personally I think it best to avoid taking it orally if in any doubt.

This is a reply to # 1,412,816I assure i ll keep the people posted here. I ll have a blood check in June. Just for your information, before taking Tea tree oil, my liver was already over working. With a Gamma of 158, AST, 148, ALT, 100.
As i got a candidosis since 6 years and just started to take action this February, i need huge doses of everything to have a real noticeable impact. I use to take 5 drops of Tea tree oil 4 times per day. After ingesting drops of tea tree oil, i dont feel any toxic reaction. Candida Die off reaction happens 45 minutes after ingesting. And as i said they are the same than ingesting 4 cloves of garlic. That s why i'm pretty confident in the tea tree oil.
I think we can't compare Cat physiology to human.
i'm really concern about what i read over the internet. The toxic side is not the issue to me. But the main problem is the following, i got exactly the opposite effect of a toxic substance. Let me explain to you. When the Candida Die off are too high, when i feel tired, i just need to take tea tree oil and it will brush away my brain fog for some hours. I also feel an energy that is pretty long lasting (2 to 3 hours).

This is a reply to # 1,413,298Sorry if I didnt explain properly - I wasnt really comparing a cats liver to human liver....I was just passing comment on the toxic effect tea tree oil or any other essential oil can have on cats with their sensitive livers (you mentioned cats in your earlier post). I wasnt suggesting it would affect your liver either although its good you get those checks. Its obviously having some positive effect on you judging by your reaction. So long as you feel ok about taking it thats all that counts but some of the information you read about taking tea tree oil internally can be worrying. Hope you feel some relief before too long.

This is a reply to # 1,413,403i d like to mention some inmportant things about liver. Since i take natural remedy i got liver is pretty stressed ( proven by blood check).
Whatever the chosen antifungal, my liver is stressed. It started with Garlic.
I also tried 7 drops of H202 but it is too strong and in this case i'm really scared :) So i stopped it.
When my liver is stressed i got a my legs inlfating, and i feel the liver getting bigger in size in my chest (that s not a lot but it is).
On a monthly i had blood check, the more i took natural antifungals and the more the liver was stressed (prior to take any Tea Tree oil).
because of that, my lethal dose is 5 drops of Tea Tree oil, 6 times a day. I'm 70 kg. I think the good dose protocole for systemic candidosis would be 1 drop of water 3 times a day for one week.
3 drops of water 3 times a day... I went to 5 drops of water 3 times a day but i reduce to 3 because i had too much die off symptoms.

This is a reply to # 1,413,749My liver enzymes also raise when I take antifungals. I dont think its the antifungals - they are only natural ones like garlic etc - its the die-off toxins stressing the liver. They come back down to normal again once the die-off has finished so I wouldnt worry that its the tea tree that has raised your liver enzymes - most probably the die-off.

This is a reply to # 1,413,843I've noticed that my liver enzymes also went up since taking garlic daily. Is it ok to take it daily? I use a tea tree oil shower soap...it seems to dry my skin a bit but nothing more. Maybe I should refrain?

6 years ago, i took 3 pills of garlic on a daily basis for 6 month.
I didn't notice any side effects.
My family doctor was unable to explain my high results for the liver and he thought i used to drink a lot. however i dont use to drink alcohol.
UPDATE:
Before starting any natural remedy, i had sometimes strong heartburn and i had my legs hurting especially in the calves. So it is nothing new for me after ingesting big amount of garlic. I started with one garlic per day for one month, then 3 cloves of garlic and until 6 cloves of garlic per day.
But now i use Tea Tree oil, which is very very powerful against Candida. But for your information, it is hurting less and less in my legs, and since 2 days, my legs are "deflating." So i guess you have to know when it will be the maximum. The limit of what you can take.

This is a reply to # 1,414,277Not saying leg problems cant be a result of poor liver function but I have had a bad poorly functioning liver all my life and never suffered any problems with my calves nor my legs. They tend to get a bit puffy/fluid retention but thats all.

This is a reply to # 1,414,653I got also the same problem. By the past before starting natural remedy treatment, my legs hurted me sometimes in the cleves. i had also muscle cramps. When i started garlic it was even worst my legs became big and i couldnt walk at the beginning but i kept on going taking garlic.
To help my liver i use Licorice roots. (chewing and eating) and Milk Thistle.

The tea tree oil yeast infection remedies that I have heard about don't include ingesting it - it is usually used as a mixture to use to sooth the irritated area.

This is a reply to # 1,476,510I use tea tree oil every day as tooth paste. I literally take 10 drops of tea tree 100% and put it on my tooth brush and brush my teeth with it. I purposely leave some of the oil in my mouth and swallow it. If you read the history of tea tree oil the people who discovered it were a native tribe and they idolized the plant. They smoked the leaves and even drank it as tea. If the history of it works and if the Australia sailors that drank TEA TREE OIL NAMED IT TEA TREE because they DRANK THE TEA it has to be decent for people but it is listed as toxic but so is H2O2.
I believe that the Candida die off is amazing with Tea tree it kills S. Mutans bacteria very effectively. S.Mutans is the bacteria responsible for creating cavities. I have a cavity right now. Whenever it starts to ache, I get some tea tree and brush my teeth then I take 80 drops of H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) in a cup and drink it. Recommended dose is around 10 drops for H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) but low doses don't effect me anymore. I need to take high doses to get a decent effect. If your an average individual I suggest sticking to the 10 drops and use it at your discretion. It can be dangerous. But remember, when fighting against bacteria you have to be very aggressive because its very aggressive. It's literally a combat situation. If you are fighting your enemy you must take them very seriously and treat them with no mercy. I want to try drinking tea tree oil 5-10 drops in a cup. Then work my way up after I build up a tolerance.
I'm not a doctor and if you try H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) or Tea tree its at your own risk. Talk to your doctor first before you try any of these ideas.

DON'T use 100% TTO. USE 20% SOLUTION.
This 20% solution is what we use in Australia as common TTO.
100% TTO is only used by professionals.

This is a reply to # 1,412,816my grandmother has been using tea tree oil for almost 45 years. she uses it for literally everything from open cuts to cavity's in her teeth. it hasnt had any negative effects to her and shes almost 80. all it does is it helps keep infection out and helps things heal. i mean it wont heal a cavity it just delays the rot till you can see hte dentist next. she practically raised me on it. it doesnt taste good by any means. but ive seen it work.

This is a reply to # 1,412,732I read that many substances are toxic, it is all about body mass and dosage. That is why you read that 2-3 drops are harmless to humans.
I have used it for heartburn, stomach acid. It works immediately and the heartburn does not re-occur. I do not know how long you should wait until a repeat dosage if heartburn reoccurs but I have usually only needed to dose twice in 12 hours and then not again until the next occurence, (maybe years). It makes sense, TTO is an antibacterial and heartburn is thought to be caused by a bacteria called helicobacter pylori.
The first time I took it orally was about 5 years ago. I also take it if I have a painful stomach caused by trapped wind, again it makes sense that the trapped wind is caused by bacteria. I have also used it to treat diarrhea or suspected food poisoning (gastroenteritis -again a bacteria). Always 2-3 drops in a glass of water. This is a reply to # 1,412,732three drops in a spoon full of Sugar is a normal dose for worms in a adult human, Take 5 drops to kill fungus in your body, warning, you will get sick as the fungus dies in your body. I believe Cancer is related to fungus because Mountain folks never got cancer until they were forced to move. It is good to deworm a human. It is hard on the Kidney so one dose every three days would be okay. It the way the old timers did it. I know this because of my pawpaw. He was born in 1889 and was raised in Mountain folks ways. He always had Pine Tree Oil (Turpentine) in the medicine cabinet. Mountain folks always dewormed them selves with this as most of them farmed hogs. I know this, I never heard of Cancer before until the Mountain folk were forced to move into town where there was electric. The government said it was for the health of the children that they had running water and electric. We did have running water but you had to pump it out of the well. people used to remember everything but not sense they were forced into the city. There mind and body has changed.
