Hi Glaxony ; I have read some of your posts and find them very helpful. I have tried tiny amounts of bloodroot powder internally as I try to get rid of some nasty parasites.
To early to tell much; but as you say; you can feel where the bloodroot is in the body, and it is not a gentle one.
It kicks as a wild horse, but I kind of like it.
Most striking happening so far was a strange pain in my shoulders after taking bloodroot, then a few big parasites passed, and the pain disappeared right after.
ps I posted this at bloodroot forum, but then I realized it can take months between posts there.
One question; does bloodroot go after all kinds of parasites?
According to my symptoms I have a lot (never did a proper parasites cleanse until now, just half hearted attempts a few months ago) The parasites started coming out after an ACV enema; I then realized how burdened I was.
BTW;I have had great effect of iodine

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,437,194I haven't taken bloodroot but I do have shoulder pain. To me, the shoulder pain can indicate liver issues. Usually, it's the right side that hurts due to liver issues.
Just some thoughts... I took some MMS & had a great deal of shoulder pain. At first, I thought it was killing stuff in my shoulders. Then I thought, it may actually be my liver.
I stopped taking the MMS but my shoulder still hurts... Seems to be a liver issue at this point. I could be totally wrong, though.- Re: Internal bloodroot - liver probl... Ginagirl

What was strange was that I hardly ever have shoulder pain.
I read that parasites can give arthrites-like pains in the shoulder; that was one of the symptoms that made me suspect a heavy load of them; therfore I started the parasite cleanse.
Then I took the bloodroot and had a sudden, strange kind of pain in my left shoulder. After passing the biggest parasites the pain disappered in an hour.
Maybe this will be my symptom when I need to cleanse; my body telling me I am carrying a to heavy load of P. ?
Shoulder pain is related to the liver according to chinese medicin; and also the gallbladder.It may absolutely have influenced on my case.

When you take something strong like bloodroot, it could be causing alot of stress on your liver either due to parasite die-off or just because it's irritating your liver. This is just an educated guess on my part... I'm not a doctor in any way, shape or form.
I am considering doing a liver flush but it's a bit too much for me to go through that right now. I'm just working with some herbs instead. I bough a product called Stone Free from Planetary Herbals. I guess time will tell.

This is a reply to # 1,437,851I was afraid of the liver flush at first, but not any more. Now I look forward to them. It is difficult to make much progress in the treatment of parasites unless you get the fat deposits out of your liver, because (apparently) it harbors them, or they feed on it, or both. I think the "stones" may contain parasite eggs or something, as well.

I got a crick in my neck that extended down my spine and into my shoulders. It went on for weeks. It was so bad I couldn't lift my arms or turn my head. I had to turn my whole body.
I also had a cough that woke me up at night. It felt like something was stinging my throat and making me cough. My "asthma" got so bad I was wheezing with every breath and had to (try to) sleep sitting up. I say "try to" because I was in so much pain I couldn't sleep.
I had a wart on my neck that was iching like crazy. It felt like it was putting down a root, sticking me deeper and deeper.
I put black salve, main ingredient bloodroot, on the wart and the crick in my neck vanished. Immediately. Gone. It was miraculous. And the critters that were stinging me and making me cough, stopped. Once the eschar came out of the wart, and the hole healed. My neck started itching again and the stinger things started making me cough again. So I started taking bloodroot internally.
All the doctors can find now is something that they say looks like mild emphysema in my lungs. If I don't stay on top of it, it gets worse. Iodine has helped me to maintain the progress I made with Bloodroot. Iodine also stops the stinging.

This is a reply to # 1,437,194The anecdotal information about Bloodroot is "it hunts down virus and cancer anywhere in the body and eliminates it," but it doesn't seem to have any effect on herpes, in my experience. Colloidal Silver works much better. Since many cancers are caused by parasites, I think it is safe to say Bloodroot is anti-parasitical. And I believe it is especially effective at eliminating hookworm infection. The reason I believe so, is that when I first started taking it, I had nightmares of demons dying. They had big mouths and pointy teeth. One day I accidentally came across a picture of a hookworm on the internet and I was horrified because it looked exactly like the "demons" in my dreams. I immediately began to read about parasitic infection, and found my way to the Parasite Forum, here at Cure Zone. I started rotating dewormers and it was amazing what came out.
In my humble opinion, the brief answer to your question is, Bloodroot goes after certain kinds of cancer, viruses and parasites and eliminates them. I am also told that if you have any of them in your body, Bloodroot will make you feel nauseous. If not, it won't.
