Wow Willowisp, you have come so far and done so many great things for your body. To think that you've had explosive diarrhea for 15 years and now that has healed! You must be ecstatic huh, I know I would be.
You've also made huge strides with your diet. It isn't realistic to think we can change everything overnight. It just doesn't happen that way for most people, especially when we've been conditioned to believe all the lies we've been fed. The more truth you learn the easier it will be to change for the better. That's how its working for me anyway.
Have a great time on vacation. I can only imagine how great you're going to feel not having to worry about that pesky explosive diarrhea while you're away from home. Thanks for sharing your testimony with us.
Willow
oh, hey Uny! Howdy :) thought you were on vacation! lol (and "lol" again!) I'm going to be on vacation starting on Saturday, too.. going to Alaska for 2 weeks.. I've ALWAYS wanted to go to Alaska (and hopefully take a small cruise and see some whales!) 'Hope you have a truly wonderful trip!
Anyway.. you have alot of my history already.. I only took IF# 1 for a couple of weeks, because, as I've stated before I had CHRONIC explosive diarhea for years after my gall bladder surgery. Duh me, how could I possibly have not remembered that (where IS that bottle of Brain Formula? And why am I not TAKING it!? grrrr me). I've never been constapated in my life, that I can remember. All your life you had 3-5 bowel movements a day? That'd be terrific - but not very likely. I was taking the IF#1, but it was actually preventing my stool from firming up.. and I decided I didn't need it. It'll do that if you don't need it (or take more than you need) (had 4-5 bowel movements a day during the whole time I was on IF#2) That's great - so do I. Even though I was a "one bm per day person" most of my life, by the time I hit my 40's I was dealing with various IBS/spastic colon issues (depending upon emotional state and what I ate, I could easily have 8 bms daily)...so I started off in "go too much land"...and I've only taken 4-5 capsules of IF#1 in my entire life. I started weening off IF#2 about two weeks ago.. went down to 4 doses a day, for a few days.. then three... then two.. I took my last dose 2 days ago. I have a bowel movement everytime I eat.. and it is firm, and not diahrea.. so, that is an improvement.. and, yes.. as I've posted before, I have seen lots of improvement in my health. All wonderful - GOOD JOB!!
as for the liver cleanses.. I did 6 diet coke cleanses prior to finding your site.. then, after talking to you, I changed my "cleanse" to the one you recommended.. with the OJ, Olive Oil, and garlic drink every morning... the tinctures and teas I purchased from you.. and two big flushes... also used castor oil packs a couple of times a day... I didn't pass anything, during those cleanses at all.. no stones.. no parasites.. no chaff.. nothing... Herein (methinks) lies the major issue with your colon/intestines, diarrhea (or not). In your posts I have noticed a fairly clear pattern - see if this resonates with you. After the gallbladder removal you started experiencing severe diarrhea (which is typical, instead of the gallbladder capturing, condensing & releases the bile from the liver on a 'as needed' basis - it drips out of the liver constantly - this causes diarrhea). Some people adjust to this, some never do, some adjust partially. This continued until Humworm, when you killed a bunch of flukes (they of course, clogged up your liver, lessening flow of bile), and you stopped having diarrhea so much. Then you did the 6 liver cleanses, got out loads of critters, and you started having diarrhea again (getting out the fluke bodies would have opened up the liver, hence more bile-flow = diarrhea). Along with the IF#2, you've done two 5 day cleanses and two big flushes and got out NO liver debris (and no flukes - yay! on the flukes...because if you had them, the garlic in the cleanse drinks likely would have killed them, and you would have seen the bodies in the flush results...so it's likely you're "all done liver flukes"!) But after a total of EIGHT big liver flushes, it's time to start seeing a voluminous amount of stones. We need to get the backlog of debris out of your liver (especially to assist your liver in processing and eliminating a backlog of 'overweight'). But I suggest (unless you're in some kind of a 'liver crisis') to not start a series of big flushes until after you get home from your travels....because (eeek) it's possible that clearing the debris out of your liver will cause the bile to start flowing again and you'll go back to 'diarrhea mode'. YET, it's VERY possible (due to all the wonderfully healthy foods, protocols & herbs), that your body is adjusting to your gallbladder being gone! (The coffee/soda being gone is a huge assist there - I'm impressed with all you've done and accomplished. You had a REALLY rough start, and you stuck with it like a warrior!)
Diet wise, no.. I'm not doing 100% raw.. and I'm not doing Vegetarian.. but, I do feel I am eating healthy. I eat lots of raw, organic fruits and veggies.. (about 60% of my diet).. I also eat lots of salmon, tilapia, shrimp, crab... some free range chicken, and eggs... no pork... and one serving of grass fed beef a week... oh, and I also have an occaisional slice of sprouted grain bread.. whole wheat, organic pasta.. and brown rice.. I do NO coffee, or soda any more... I drink 100% water... also, I'm supplementing with superfood daily.. I feel very good, actually... oh, and just so you know I am being honest.. my mom gave me some fresh raspberries from her garden, and I made homemade pie.. so, I'm not perfect.. but, I am eating sooo much healthier than I was before.. Those are all good changes...and we all know, this IS the toughest part. Here's my "caution list" -
--be very careful on the seafood (other than wild-caught salmon/sardines or other fishies/critters that you're SURE are not 'farm raised'). Farm raised fish & seafood are fed GM grains, the water is laden with all kinds of very strong antibiotics & pesticides --particularly bromine-- (which is very similar to fluoride in nature). The bodies themselves test very high for various PCBs...and since they're now being feed "beef by products" (:::sigh of exasperation::: WHY ON EARTH would someone feed fish ground up cow carcasses!?)...we now have the risk of Mad Cow Disease. :( And oh yes, the words "sustainably caught" on a can or label/sign...does NOT mean the fish/seafood was wild-caught - it generally means they were farmed :( :( :(
--Dr. Christopher allowed 1-2 meals of "clean chicken or fish) a week. Any more than that and you're definitely working against yourself.
--The majority of "organic pastas" , even the whole wheat ones (while better than their toxic counterparts) are just as non-nutritious and mucous forming as the others. The sprouted grain pasta should be our only choice. One you/we get away from all mucous forming foods for a few months, it's just outrageous what happens (and how OBVIOUS it is) when we eat "organic pasta" and not whole grains.
--I understand (totally) a fresh raspberry pie! YUM! (and YUM AGAIN!) As soon as you can, pick-up some organic whole-wheat pastry flour (perfect for crusts), some organic shortening, and 5# of some type of 'evaporated cane juice' natural sugar or true Turbinado (or Sucanat, but that has added molasses and tastes 'dark', while the others taste almost exactly like white sugar). That way you'll have everything you need "on hand" and won't have to use the evil "whites"
--You're making super-great strides; it took Rick and I several years to get to the place we are...and we were doing it together! Quite honestly, if we would have been able to afford organic meat, we might never have pulled it off yet!
Can I tell you what I think it is.. and tell me if this is possible? I think, because I had 2-10 bouts of explosive diarhea a day, for 15+ years.. I think my colon shrunk. I mean.. it never ever had to stretch, because the only thing that ever passed through it, was watery diarhea... I did produce larger stool when I was doing humaworm's colon cleanse... it was the size of two fingers... on the if#2, it never was any bigger than the size of a single finger... I honestly don't think that I have an obstruction.. and I don't really feel like I'm full of mucoid plaque.. I never saw a single sign of anything like that pass during the IF#2... so.. do you think it's just feasible, that my colon just shrunk, from all those years of diarhea? it no longer needed to stretch to accomodate anything so, it just got small, and lost it's elasticity? is that even possible?
::::grin::: you disproved your own theory before you even asked me with this: >>> I did produce larger stool when I was doing humaworm's colon cleanse... it was the size of two fingers... on the if#2, it never was any bigger than the size of a single finger<<< If it were 'shrunk' it wouldn't just 'unshrink & shrink again'...especially not without elasticity. Body parts that have lost their elasticity don't usually shrink and tighten (they can't tighten, because they have no elasticity), they usually become saggy...yet...any/all body parts can shrink due to dehydration. And as you saw in the post I linked you to, the lower colon is where 90-95% of all the water/fluid we ingest SHOULD be assimilated. So your lower colon certainly has had a lot of years of totally irregular action...with major amounts of fluid NOT seeping through where it should have been shrinking through. The excess bile has caused all kinds of abnmormal action/function for a VERY long time. Be sure to keep your water intake as close to a gallon a day as you can (more is better - I drink FAR more than a gallon of water a day). I think your 'doctor within' is on the right track - I think it likely does have something to do with 15 years of explosive diarrhea. Let's remember though, that diarrhea can easily be caused by impactions and constrictions...when there's any narrowing in the intestines, the water can 'get by' but not the food & fiber. So this causes diarrhea (some/many times interspersed with constipation)
As always... I defer to your expertise..thank you - but I hope everything I suggest is run past your own doctor within and that you continue to increase your knowledge bank ...I don't like or want anyone "defering" to me or anyone else - on the 'net or otherwise :) by the way, I will be reordering once I'm back from alaska.. so, I'd apprecaite your recommendations.. I'm assuming that you will tell me more colon cleansing... and probably more liver cleansing.. but, please tell me if more is needed.. Yes indeedy, the liver cleansing is important - and yes, the IF#2 (methinks) should be continued. It will keep any diarrhea under control; it will help to heal & condition the muscular action (that may have been somehow damaged by the constant diarrhea)
******
in the post above, you said that stool should be the "same color as peanut butter." is that true? lol...is this a test?
yes, to the best of my knowledge, it's true. so, if that's the case.. then my color is ok.. it is definately the color of peanut butter.. light tannish/orange... I always assumed that it should be dark brown... like the color of milk chocolate... so, then maybe my liver is ok...milk chocolate color is definitely too dark. but, the size is still definately an isue...I agree, and at this point, I think we're looking at "undoing & healing" over a decade of compromise, so it's likely going to be a "slow & steady upward trend" over time.
you also said "thin stools = impaction, constriction and lack of flow = lack of blood flow = lack of oxygen = cancer...." So, remededy for this? more IF#2? I'm actaully ok with doing more IF#2... I feel great taking it.. in fact, most days my body craves it... is there anything else I can do to increase oxygenation, and bloodflow... and to ease the constriction? Yes, I think more IF#2 is a very good thing - and I'm glad to hear your feel your body responding positively (I always feel wonderful when I take IF#2). There's a LOT of reasons it's good for our body (just the clay & charcoal alone are fantastic!). Oxygenation and bloodflow? Yes indeedy, and you likely already know the answer. It's that 3 teaspoons of cayenne powder that everyone is supposed to be taking (or working up to) every day...and it should be part of our normal diet forever
Thanks, as always.. I'm definately learning so much from you.. You're more than welcome. Let me know what other issues you're dealing with and I'll get you some suggestions and thoughts of thing you may want to add to your upcoming order. And I think perhaps some extra slippery elm bark powder in every dose of IF#2 would be VERY beneficial to help heal & restore your intestinal tract. 1/2# should be more than enough - you'd want to add 1/2 teaspoon (more or less) to each dose of IF#2.
Healthiest of blessings -
