First I want to say Thank YOU to PTree for recommending Holistic Horizons as an alternative to the B&P Shakes. Thank YOU PTree!!!

Secondly, I want to share a couple of things I have learned with everyone in the hopes some else may benefit from my experience. I have been using the Holistic Horizon Products (Colon Cleanse Tablets and Bulking Agent III) for about 5 days now. I have not had one problem with constipation on the products. In fact, I am going 4-5 times a day. Which is remarkable, given that I could not go for 5-7 days on the B& P Shakes.

However, I think I know the key to why HH (Holistic Horizons) is working for me. Their recommendation is to slowly introduce the Bulking Agen (psyllium) into your system slowly before adding the Colon Tablets. I started out even slower than their recommendation due to the problems I had with the B&P Shakes. I took 1 teaspoon a day for a couple of days, then 1teaspoon 2x a day and will start on 2 teaspoons 2x a day tomorrow. Once I work up to 2 teaspoons 2x a day, I then add 1/2 a Colon Cleanse tablet 2x per day for thee days. After that, I will add one tablet.

Once I have completed this for a few months, I will eventually do another Ultimate Cleanse again. However, this is what I am going to do for the Ultimate Cleanse to work up to 4 shakes a day:

1 Tsp of Psyllium per day for 3 days
2 Tsp of Psyllium per day for 3 days
3 Tsp of Psyllium per day for 3 days
4 Tsp of Psyllium per day for 3 days

Then I will add 1/2 tablespoon of Bentonite - to each shake - for 3-5 days or until I make sure it is working and not causing me to be constipated. Once I see I am not constipated, I will increase to 1 Tablespoon for each shake.

I think someone posted something similar to this earlier in the week. After all the problems I had with the B&P Shakes, this is what I recommend for anyone else experiencing constipation. As PTree has said before, what works for one does not work for another. Introducing the Bulking Agent (psyllium) gradually into my system then adding the Colon Cleanse (or bentonite) later is doing wonders for me.
