The Real Scoop On Ozone Therapy
(Healthiertalk.com) Ozone therapy is the basis of a miraculous type of therapy that’s been used to help fight “incurable” diseases throughout the world. Administered intravenously (I.V.), this method was first used by doctors in France in 1951 who injected up to 10 milliliters (ml) of pure ozone-oxygen into an artery or vein in patients with poor circulation. Today, this therapy is frequently used during battle and against the spread of cancer. In my opinion, I.V. ozone therapy is the simplest, most effective anti-cancer therapy known to man.
Within my group of healthcare professionals, this therapy has more than a 95 percent success rate when used on cancer patients… even stage four cancers. If you haven’t had chemotherapy, ozone therapy will be more effective, and there are no serious side effects. You might have an electrical or metallic taste in your mouth right after infusion and possibly a mild cough.
After every I.V. session, patients are told to…
Use oral-activated charcoal to bind toxic by-products as the cancer dies off in your intestinal tract.
Stay well hydrated.
Consume only raw, uncooked food for 24 hours following the treatment.
And the benefits of this amazing therapy are many and varied. In Europe doctors have long used ozone therapy for its bacteria-killing properties. It was even used during World War I to treat infected wounds and mustard gas burns. Studies have shown that for wounds, low concentrations of I.V. ozone can promote healing and skin growth while high concentrations are sufficient to clean out and disinfect them.
Three to 20 minutes of ozone treatment can help…
Fight staph, herpes and even gangrene.
Improve poorly healing wounds.
Relieve pressure built up around wounds.
Stop bacteria growing in the bone.
Heal radiation burns.
In European countries ozone therapy has also been used for conditions such as inflammatory bowel problems like ulcerative colitis… acute and chronic disorders like hepatitis… diabetes… hardening of the arteries… high cholesterol… and to enhance bone density for patients with osteoporosis.
But due to the lack of awareness of ozone therapy in the United States, most successful outcomes—and the studies verifying them—have taken place in other countries.
Why is ozone therapy not a part of the American medical mainstream? Under the current system, doctors are required to offer a choice of only three treatments for cancer. These choices are surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. Anything else is not “Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved,” not “scientific” and therefore doesn’t fit in the “standard of care” allowed by the National Cancer Institute (NCI).
Notes: As reported above, ozone therapy is most effective when someone has not had prior chemo (which is true of virtually all alternative cancer treatments). Also, note that the above article refers to IV ozone treatment. Treatments with hyperbaric chambers have also been reported to have very good success. Treatments with home ozone machines should not be expected to be nearly as successful.
There are a couple of misleading statements in the article.
First of all you DO NOT use high concentration of ozone internally EVER. High concentrations internally will hemolyze red blood cells, which can be quite serious if not deadly. The maximum amount of ozone used in internal use is only 0.1% with the rest being pure oxygen.
Secondly it makes absolutely no difference whatsoever if the person has had previous chemotherapy. Same with radiation therapy. These do not change the chemistry of cancer cells in any way to make them ozone resistant.
Activated charcoal does not need to be taken with ozone treatments, and I actually advise against it since the charcoal absorbs valuable nutrients.
As far as whether or not IV injection is best, that is very debatable. Each form of administration has its pros and cons. Tumors readily accessible by a needle can actually be injected directly with ozone. Overall though for most internal applications I feel insufflation is best. And studies have shown after a few treatments to be just as effective as autohemotherapy, which is slightly below IV and IA injections. The big advantage of insufflation though is that it can be done easily at home with a little training and it does not carry the risks associated with injections that people often do too rapidly. Having a unit at home also allows a person to easily do multiple treatments a day and at a much lower cost.
It should also be noted that it is EXTREMELY important to not destroy large tumors too rapidly. It would be very easy to destroy a 20cm malignant tumor with ozone in one shot. But all this dead cellular debris constitutes an infection to the body, and that large of an amount of cellular debris could kill the patient from sepsis.
Thanks for your input and corrections. I was counting on you to come along and comment. I mainly posted the article to emphasize how effective ozone therapy could be. As you have pointed out, it should be the right kind of ozone therapy and done the safest way possible.

I think the issue with the chemo/radiation issue is added toxicity or damage to the cells. Glutathione is more than likely quite low in cancer patients to begin with and further radiation and/or chemo would reduce glutathione levels even more. Since glutathione is a redox enzyme, protection of the healthy cells may be compromised. The Cubans measure key antioxidants such as glutathione and SOD to tailor optimal doses of ozone.
Ozone therapy stimulates an increase in antioxidant enzyme levels within healthy cells.

Prior chemotherapy also tends to make virtually every alternative/natural cancer treatment more difficult because it weakens the body and inflicts damage throughout the body, including vital major organs such as the liver and heart. In addition, chemotherapy treatment usually lowers immune function which is the body's natural first line of defense against cancer and is essential in both beating cancer and keeping it at bay in the future. Studies have proven that chemo often results in spreading cancer as well as paving the way for future cancers.
I echo your thanks to Hveragerthi and noooooooooo I don't want to be argumentive with H either.
Not to be argumentative, but if the body is deficient in redox enzymes then there is nothing for ozone to stimulate. I am only speaking from personal experience in that treatments really caused a lot of problems (detoxification) as my levels of glutathione and SOD were low.
Here is an interesting study that found chemotherapy raising SOD levels, not reducing it:

The mean SOD levels were observed to be elevated but not to the normal level among the treated patients as compared to that of the corresponding untreated patients of the AML and CML, indicating the response to chemotherapy."
SOD levels were found to already be lowered prior to the chemotherapy, which may have been from the cancers themselves. So there is still a lot of unanswered questions to be be investigated as to chemotherapy and antioxidant enzymes.
