I have been on juice fasting for 20 days and the energy level has been great.
This week I started adding beets to my regiment, last night I juiced some beet greens also, quite a few actually, and six hours later I woke up with intense pain in my liver-gallbladder area. The pain lasted for about four hours and finally subsided.

Might try a liver flush. Then get back on the JF or slowly end it, depending on how long you're wanting to go.
