There are a lot of causes of schizophrenia, so first I would figure out what's causing it. Here's a list:

Also, they figured out that schizophrenia is caused by too much dopamine and Parkinson's Disease is caused by not enough dopamine. So they created drugs to lower dopamine (neuoleptics like thorazine and the newer atypical drugs like risperdal and clozapine) and drugs to raise dopamine- carbidopa-levodopa. It makes sense because too little dopamine causes parkinson's disease and when someone takes too much antipsychotic drugs they get parkinsons-like-side effects.

Have you tried any of the newer drugs? Some people do amazingly well on them.

I believe that Iboga root or Ibogaine, made from it, would cure schitzophrenia because it resets the seratonin and dopamine recepters in the brain.

However, guess what, it is illegal here in the USA.

There are treatment centers in Mexico, Canada and other countries.
