Herbicides in general are well known for their serious effect on soil microbe numbers . Regimes have been developed to try to manage/improve these failures. But most hope it doesn't develop into an issue and hope to solve the issue by ever increasing levels of artificial fertilisers.

The analogies with human health are palpable and yet most happily continue to spray just like grz's neighbor.

Grz I do not understand the mid section of this sentence:

I have been saying that for years... causing nutritionally EMPTY and vital nutrient chelating produce and whole foods... that are sold to HUMANS.

Is that what you meant?

It will be very interesting to see what happens with this one. A new pathogen that is caused by the synergistic effect of GMOS and Roundup would have to be any environmentalists dream combination. (I saw this interview on the Alternative Dr's show (Dr Richard Becker). i foolishly exposed myself to not only the Round-up, but it mixed with other potent (deadly) herbicides when I sprayed noxious weeds for a job with a county weed district. My health, liver especially, has paid for it. Literally, I wouldn't be here today had I not gone the Alternative route instead of trying to find answers through MD's)


Dr. Becker of “Your Health” TV show, which airs on Channel TLN asked these important questions on one of his recent shows when he had a special guest who was very knowledgeable; Dr. Russell Blaylock, board certified neurosurgeon and researcher of nutrition for disease prevention. Dr. Blaylock shared some “eye-opening” facts and studies about breast cancer that we need to consider.

Dr. Becker pointed out one thing in our environment that is affecting our health – pesticides and herbicides. Studies show that herbicides increase Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma by 70%. Glyphosate exposure doubles the risk of the disease. Glyphosate is an ingredient in a common used pesticide called Round up, used widely. It is sprayed on crops to grow corn and other popular foods. Dr. Becker pointed out that farmers have some of the highest rates of cancer. This is alarming considering the fact that we really can’t control this situation. Dr. Becker’s interview with expert nutrition therapist for cancer, Russell Blaylock, M.D. revealed some jaw dropping facts. His first question to Dr. Blaylock was “Do you think mammograms are important for fighting breast cancer?”

Dr. Blaylock’s response was “I oppose mammograms to detect breast cancer.” He stated that mammograms cause unnecessary surgeries in large numbers for women. Statistically, women are developing cancer because of mammograms. This statement may disturb many but he did back his case by explaining that studies and research went on during 2002 and 2003 where over ½ million women’s mammograms were observed to see if the mammograms prevented cancer and the conclusion was – NO. A second study went on by an independent research group call The Cochrane group who concluded the same thing – mammograms do not prevent cancer. A storm of protest happened from this study, mainly from the American Cancer Society who promotes mammograms every year. Dr. Blaylock made a good point from this research. This means there is a group of women who should never get mammograms because they have a high risk in breast cancer, but it recommended that they get mammograms earlier, at age 20 - even every 6 months. Dr. Blaylock pointed out that this will expose them to radiation even more and they already have a fragile DNA. Mammograms damage the DNA each time it is given. This causes a 1 in 3 increase in getting breast cancer
