I have likely taken more *probiotics* than most people in any given day, and over the last several years through my homemade raw goat milk kefir, water kefir, kombucha, homemade fermented vegetables, mostly sauerkraut, pickles, and kimchi, along with *supplements* some of which were SBOs, and of 100 billion count or more, sometimes three and four times a day... and never ran into this issue.
I also drink whole, raw, unpasturized juices that are loaded with *probiotics* and SBOs.
My immediate thought is... what are *you* feeding them? You do know that we have a symbiosis with this planet's microflora I suspect.
If you do not... I will tell you that what you feed *them* (what YOU eat or supplement with) matters... because their *waste* feeds you with VITAL things like vitamins, enzymes, proteins, fats, etc.
As an example of a problem many people run into...
If you are eating a lot of cellulose (green plants), you need to be sure that you get cellulose manufacturing microflora in your regimen to enhance digestion and breakdown of the plant cell walls, and greatly enhance the nutritional value of the food... either that, or be sure you get cellulase containing enzymes. Eating your greens raw will not cut it unless you grow your own as they are washed, bleached, and sanitized of the microflora that you require.
