You may try oil pulling for discolorization and also alkalizing your mouth before you go to sleep at night. Once I had gone through a period of using baking soda every day to brush my teeth. I guess I was doing it too hard. I discovered I had brushed off enamel on a spot on my front tooth. I was horrified because the commercial on TV say you can't get it back. Well enamel can grow back. I happened to have a tube of remineralizing toothpaste my Mom had given me. I use the toothpaste and a month later I looked at my tooth and it was fine. It was as if nothing had every happened to it. Do you get enough sunshine? You need plenty of vitamin D to make use of calcium in your body. Have you ever had your vitamin D levels checked??? Winter is notorious for causing trouble with teeth as vitamin D stores are low due to lack of sunshine. I would strongly encourage you to google and read into how important vitamin D is to your teeth. Also, try a mouthwash called Biotene. It is available in most stores now. It has enzymes and minerals to greatly help the balance of bacteria in your mouth. Just like candida can grow rampant in your gut, other bad bacteria and fungi can grow in your mouth. Are you drinking enough water??? Water to be sufficiently hydrated is extremely important as your body makes saliva based on how hydrated you are, not enough water means not enough saliva and without saliva you cannot neutralize your bad bacteria. Do you floss??? Food between teeth is usually left by the toothbrush and will slowly eat away at enamel. Flossing the right way gets under the gumline also. Finally, get yourself a sonicare. This works wonders on your teeth getting rid of plaque that bacteria like to stick to and it is this bacteria that eat holes in your teeth. Make sure you are getting enough calcium. Eat plenty of greens.

I had similar problems with my teeth. I had 12 cavities with 12 silver fillings before. I wonder about 2 things mainly. I wonder if mercury wasn't the cause of my teeth problems. I also wonder if my problem wasn't an overzealous dentist who sees his patients as a way to make some extra money.

I've replaced my fillings and have been chelating. I'm not finished with chelating yet, so I'm not 100% sure if that will take care of my teeth problems.

Theory 2 was supported when I left the US and went to Japan to live. My dentist in the US told me that there was a cavity forming on one of my teeth, and he wanted to fill it (with another silver filling!). I went to a dentist in Japan and he told me that there were no cavities in my teeth and no need for a filling.

I highly recommend getting rid of your Amalgams and chelating (in that order). Even if your teeth problems are caused by something else, it's a really good idea to get that poison out of your body. It should help with the candida too (it really helped with mine).

i have had invasive candidiasis for close to 10 years, becoming disabled in 2005 due to the myriad symptoms. one of my latest symptoms is tooth decay. my dentist advises that candida eats tooth enamel. i have tried everything to get rid of this krap, and have been trying to convince my doctor i had it since 2004. i had a lot of URI's in the 90's when they were giving Antibiotics out like candy. a local wellness clinic i walked into about 6 mos ago advised me i had it, i told them to try telling that to my doctor. anyway, they sent me for the yeast panel, and i finally had something to show my doctor. he just wanted to argue with me and test me for aids again. didn't want to treat me at all. all my blood tests always come back normal and i wish i had a nickel for everytime i was told that they could give me a referral to a psychologist or psychiatrist. i am currently waiting for a call back from infectious diseases to try to treat it since my doctor won't touch it with a ten-foot pole. i just keep getting new symptoms. i've tried all the herbs, rotating them, caprillic acid, apple cider vinegar, enzymes, fiber and probiotics, restricted diets, and various combinations. it just keeps getting worse. i've been on 1.2 million units of nystatin, 500,000 units pill and 100,000 units liquid 2x a day for the last six months. i am also taking yeast defense and rotating herbal antifungals regularly (cat's claw, oregano oil, golden seal, high allicin garlic, Black-Walnut , pau d'arco, olive leaf, oregon grape, coconut oil). every so often i use candigone and candestroy, astragalus, and some other stuff, and i still woke-up with thrush several times this week. over the years i've been diagnosed with FMS, CFS, arthralgia, peripheral neuropathy, arthritis, IBS, GERD, esophagitis, insomnia, aural migraine, cluster headaches, etc., the list just goes on and on. i now have liver disease and tachycardia from the toxins, but after spending thousands of dollars at the cardiologist, nothing was found to be wrong. my doctor thinks i'm a hypochondriac, my rheumatologist thinks i should see a shrink, and i am beginning to hate all doctors. good luck to all of you, you're going to need it...
