I have done juice fasting years ago and now I am back to juice fasting. Today is day 1. (I am doing colon cleansing and coffee enema daily)
I get cold very easily. Being cold makes me absolutely miserable, more than anything else. I often catch myself being really cold on juice or huge amount of water. Hot herbal tea doesn’t help much at this point. It will make my fasting a lot harder. Does anybody experience the same? If so, how did you overcome this dilemma?
Another question; how do you take juice to work or school? I don’t think everybody will quit job to go on fasting. LOL. I read somewhere to take V8 type juice but I don’t think that’s a good idea if your goal is detoxifying.

This is a reply to # 1,808,904Feeling cold is normal, don't worry about it. I've done about 20 juice fasts, and most times I get a little cold. I don't mean to sound flip, but just wear a sweater or something extra. It always passes for me. Hang in there.
V-8? Ughhh! No!! LOL. The stuff is chock full of salt and other dead juices.
I often juice my entire amount in the morning, to last thru the day. Plus it is good to add distilled water to cut or thin your juice to make it last longer. 100% is okay too. Be careful of juicing too much fruits.

This is a reply to # 1,808,904It's normal. I'm cold during all my fasts. I used to take hot showers and just bundle up. Your body is not digesting so your internal oven is "turned off" for lack of a better analogy.
I always juiced in the morning and brought everything with me in a cooler. I once camped for four days and just brought a four day supply with me. Granted, the juice wasn't as fabulous on day four but it worked just fine. Carrot and apple keep very well.- Re: anybody has same problem? being ... onetwothree

This is a reply to # 1,812,436Thank you guys! I know you would feel colder during fasting - have done fasting in the past. I wanted to know whether there was a way to improve it since being cold makes me so miserable (body pain and all), to a point that I would consider quitting just for that reason. LOL. I am still hanging in here.
