I have just finished reading the book "Earthing...The Most Important Health Discovery Ever?"

Before I go any further, I just want to take a quick minute to make a lil' scarcastic "lol", because I continue seeing words like "new" and "revolutionary" in regards to "Earthing"...when Dr. Christopher recommended it for decades and many great healers throughout the past centuries have included 'being in touch with the earth' as an essential aspect of natural health and well being.  Folks there is NOTHING "new" about barefooting (earthing, grounding, or whatever it is named), but there ARE aspects of it's benefits that have recently been uncovered, and the implications are TOTALLY PHENOMENAL!!!  

How phenomenal?  Well, from what I have gleaned from the book, I discern very strongly that within a few weeks I'm going to be saying something very similar to: "Having a grounding pad/sheet on your bed is just as imperative to health & healing as not eating a SAD diet and having a quality juicer!".  Oh yeah, all the evidence points to it being THAT imperative!

But Uny, why a sheet or bed pad, why isn't 15-30 minutes enough?  Because 15-30 minutes of 'barefooting' daily when our bodies are designed to be in contact with the earth for 24 hours, just isn't enough.  15-30 minutes daily is kinda like saying we're going to make a total change in our diet, but only changing one snack a day.

And there is FAR more to this than just 'grounding out' the toxic energy.  Many of us intuited early on that not only is the earth's energy a ground that will pull out all the toxic frequencies, but the earth is also a SOURCE for giving our body the frequencies it so desperately needs.  And this book shows you why that is...and how incredibly inbalanced we are when we're not in touch with the earth's natural frequencies.  And it's NOT some "woo-woo airy-fairy explanation" - it's logical truth based on very valid facts.

True, true, this is NOT a "magic bullet" that is going to compensate for a poor diet or *poof away* our need to cleanse and restore our bodies... but in absolutely every way you can imagine, this should cause every cleanse you do, herb you take and effort you expend to be incredibly more effective!!! 

Today, a wonderful friend of mine (and friend of this forum), who knows Rocky and I can't afford an 'Earthing sheet/bed pad' right now, but knows we need to have one asap in order to 'test it thoroughly' before officially recommending it, is "gifting us" with an Earthing sheet that she's ordering today.  (You can see it here http://earthing.com/; click on "shop" and then "earthing bed pad").  After it gets here and we've had a week or two to experience it, I'll be making another post (which will very likely have even more compelling information)...and then we can all start getting even more educated, start educating others, and start sharing our stories & testimonies!

Please, please, PUHLEEZ, bless yourself and be sure and read that book excerpt (and the book reviews) as soon as possible!  And be SURE to stay-tuned for the upcoming testimonies and amazing changes around here, because even though I haven't yet 'slept grounded', I already am quite sure of my discernment that this is going to be one of THE best things any of us can ever do to increase our body's innate ability to heal itself!!!

P.S.  As far as buying the book, the site earthing.com actually includes a FREE book with the earthing mats and bed pads.  If you're thinking you want to order an Earthing mat (for the floor or chair, or even bed), or a sheet/bed pad, you should get a free book (of course, you'll likely end up wanting a few books to give away).  

You do not have to spend nearly that much money to get started because there are very inexpensive patches & bands that you can use, too :)
