My GI Dr. prescribed 5 3mg tabs daily for 7 days. I weight about 198 lbs. Is this correct?
I read that most on here are taking 12mg a day.

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,587,297The duration/frequency of treatment depends on your condition. If it's uncomplicated strongyloides infection, that should work.
For hyperinfection/disseminated disease the recommendations I've found are continue taking ivermectin until the infection is cleared.
I've been taking ivermectin for three weeks now and albendazole for one week. I think I'll be done next week. If not, I'll have to stop taking them anyway because I don't particularly want to fry my liver. So I'll take a break and do it all again.
Life cycle is 28 days in uncomplicated infection.
What are your symptoms?
Mine included crushing chest pain, swollen lymph nodes on my head, hair loss, stopped sweating, retained a LOT of water, swollen belly, joint pain, skin issues that wouldn't heal, blurry vision, intensely itchy rashes that started between my fingers and spread all over my body followed by 'lines' of rashes - larva currens rashes. I do plan on following this, but first am finally giving in and going for an endoscopy, since i continue to have this gurgling 'bubble' that talks and groans...oh, tis scary.
I suspect it is either a mass of worms within the biofilm, or the biofilm itself. Reason I am not just going forward to kill the beast, is because every time I try an antiparasitic regime, I get constipated, then the runs because i take so much to go to the bathroom..however I am still very sick etc. and must go very very slowly--like drops of Wormwood . This has gone on for far too long so I suspect there is some blockage.
wanted to ask you one thing though...I want to give this info to my doctor. How can I approach this...in other words, where do I say this info is coming from and how does one convince a clueless doctor that this is a good treatment protocol for what we have?

this will clear most common internal parasites,worms,ans scabies and siome others,dead parasites will have to be removed from under your skin if they appear usually a red spot with a brown or black center and itch like mad.

It seems to be working but my only question is to whether it will also kill the small worms (possibly pinworms) in my nasal sinus area and also in my ears. They are really getting on my last nerve so any advice would be appreciated....

Thank you so much for the detailed information about dosages. Today, after months of research, having finally identified the problem (strongyloides), and armed with microscopic photos and a list of symptoms, I went to the doctor. He told me that there is no way I could have a parasitic infection. He said that if I had this parasite for 7 months, I would be near death. (Which I feel I am, but what do I know?) I have these things in my ears, mouth, eyes, nose, urine, stool, etc. Did I mention that I had photo evidence? Anyway, I think my next stop should be petmeds.com...

How are veterinary drugs regulated so that if taken by a human, the human doesn't overdose? How can someone ordering say horse ivermectin paste or cattle ivermectin liquid verify that such brands have been regulaged properly?
