New and confused. Every chart/site I look at seems be different. For example foods like potatos, eggs, rice, quinoa, chicken, and more are either acidic or alkaline based on the chart or site you're looking at.
These are mostly the foods I want to eat as I'm mostly a picky eater and want to make it as simple as possible but I still have no idea what is what. Is there an official chart somewhere?- Re: What acid/alkaline charts do you... Provance7

This is a reply to # 1,926,232It does get confusing! The reason is probably that some foods are slightly alkaline or slightly acidic. Other foods are very alkaline or very acidic.

The bottom line is that animal products, especially meat, most grains and coffee are very acidic.
Most fruits and vegetables are alkaline or slightly alkaline.
