I am really interested in Urine Therapy, I have been implementing it into my regimen. The last two weeks I have been drinking more than ever but have stopped straight up drinking the last few days because I started slowly taking hydroxyurea again. I'm pretty sure you shouldn't mix urine therapy with medication. I have more faith in the UT but my white counts were high last time so I'm just trying to beat them down to make sure nothing happens to me. I am doing my best to beat this naturally as I don't want to take a drug the rest of my life, if anyone has any experience with CML please contact me and we'll talk.

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,943,141I don't know anything about urine therapy but know a lot about CML. Please be careful. It really isn't as simple as just taking hydroxy again when your counts get too high. At some point your CML is going to go into blast crisis and there is very little you can do to recover from that. I realize you do not want to take chemo for life, but don't let the fact that you have that option fool you into thinking your disease isn't a big deal. The oral chemotherapy doesn't work for everyone, and your odds of having it work for you decrease the further your disease advances before you begin taking them.

This is a reply to # 1,943,141Please contact the National CML Society (www.nationalcmlsociety.org). There is a portal on their page to ask CML experts from all over the world questions regarding this disease and treatment options. The cancer you have is rare and has benefited from the greatest advance in cancer treatment in our lifetimes. There are many patients in the US and abroad who have been able to stop taking oral chemotherapy after a prolonged period of remission, but this depends largely on their initial response to treatment, which depends largely on how advanced the disease is when you begin treating it.
