Today I needed to vent. I do so by my terrible sense of humor that have saved my life a couple of times. Without it I would wither.
But I came to think of those who have experienced losses in this way mentioned, and that they would find the post inappropriate, so I found the need to fill out a couple of blanks.

I was asked to give a more balanced view on iodine, by someone that doesnt know my story. The newcomers dont know me that much either, (if you like there is a personal story at Trappers forum.) all I can share is the experiences I have had. I am highly governed by intuition and testing substances all out on my self first.

Point is balance, there is always a possibility that we take to much of a substance; I have definitely, many times, loads of times! (iodine is not among them)
When I became ill (hypo T) and barely could get through the day I searched the internet for any info that could help. Of the thousands of pages I have been through, it was perhaps 4-5 of them that really helped. thats why I sometimes post links in my threads; I want you to educate yourself, think for yourself, take responsibility for your own health. Maybe the page I link doesnt help, but it may give an idea, and ever so often an other person find it helpful. According to PMs.

Dont believe everything you read on the internet; not even in the name of science. or should I rather say; especially in the name of science. All IMO of course. Our body is unike, Science is based on average of a group, often rats; bless them.
But Science can be good to have as a starting point. One page can lead to the next.
Dont believe that all I say is right, but search yourself, think for yourself etc. That is the best advice I can give.

About toxcity; A person I know from one of my jobs, a drug addict on methadone, wanted to commit suicide. He had read on the internet that 5 bottles of his methadone was the maximum one could survive. He arranged with his doc to have 10 bottles at once as he claimed to go on holiday with his family. He was also given prescription of 100 tablets of a strong medication, Rivotril (which is an epilepsy drug, frequently used among drug addicts)
Luckily one of his "mates" stole one of the bottles.
He downed everything at once with his last meal; a few beers, sure to never wake up.

He did wake up. Why we will never know, but I believe there is a reason behind things whatever happens.

I would probably die if I took one or two bottles of Methadone, hey I almost passed away the one and only time I took Paralgin Forte, after an injury.
One course of Antibiotics led me into 20 years of candida hell.
One little diet coke will give me excema, so it does with my youngest son.
Think for yourself. Know that I had to be through lots of anxiety before I took iodine, and during the first year. I believed in "all natural" products of that time, I was wrong, it didnt help me enough. All found in my posting history.

Ginagirl, for the purpose of suicide you should take the elements intravenously. This way you can avoid the problem of the taste or stomach upset and the dose required to kill you will be much lower (so that you can save money for, well, your heir) :)
