Over the weekend I started to feel a pain on the right side of the area. It went away, but night before last I went to the bathroom I noticed a huge lump there. At that point it didn't hurt. It freaked me out so I did a lot of research. The next day I checked it, and it was very large. I would say the size of a huge grape. It is very deep under the skin so it is not possible to even try popping it. I have also been using Vagisil PH Balance wash for over a month. And contacted the last 2 people I have had sexua| relations with in order to find out about STDs. I was tested in June and nothing came up.
The next day I did a lot of research online. Since I do not have a bathtub or sitz bath I could not do that. Instead I went to get some Epsom salt. I heat it up with water and used a rag and tried that. It only made it more painful and swollen. After a while, trying not to sit very often, I saw online the remedy of 1oz of calamine, 1 tsp of tea tree & 1 tsp of witch hazel. I have been using cotton balls and putting it directly on the cyst and leaving it there with a pad several times last night and twice today so far. It has relieved the pain quite a bit and the cyst is now smaller. The first time I did this there was a yellowish discharge. I wasn't sure if it was just a discharge or some puss coming out. It seems to have improved but what I thought I was supposed to be doing was trying to pull it out more so a head forms and I can squeeze the puss out. It worries me a lot how deep it is.
I cannot go to a doctor as I have no insurance and it is very expensive and I am terrified to get it surgically removed. I have read about the recovery time on that and if I do that it will ruin my life. I am 21 years old and plan on having children someday. I do not wish to lose my sex drive. If there is any additional advice that would help please let me know. I am on a very tight budget.
