Fluoride in raisins by the chart you cite is 2.3 ppm. So if you eat 2.2
pounds of raisins, you get 2.3 milligrams of fluoride, or about the same as in 1/2 gallon of city water.
But who ever eats 2.2
pounds of raisins ?
If you eat 1/4 pound of raisins, you get less than 0.3 milligrams fluoride.
I guess you could eat 1/4 pound of raisins, what's that ? Like a whole box of raisins ?
But 1/4 pound of raisins has about the same fluoride as a 12 ounce glass of city water. Or coffee at a restarurant made using city water. Or reconstituted orange juice made using city water. Or soda pop in a mixed drink at a bar made using city water, etc.
I'd be more concerned about white wine than I would raisins. At 2ppm it is twice as bad as city water. An 8-ounce glass of white wine would have 0.5 milligrams of fluoride in it according to the chart, which is nearly twice that of a quarter pound of freekin raisins.
Lol, dry instant tea powder is like 900 ppm of fluoride, or nearly 0.1 % by weight of F. Is that enough to require special labeling ? Would it be effective as a rat poison at that level ? What is the LD-50 of instant tea powder ?
