NOT a joke!

I ~know~ where these "rope"/thread/string/filament/fibril thingys came from, but heck if I know what they are! I've been scouring the internet for information for months. Then I read the article stating that the "rope" parasites can be over a meter long with smaller stages residing most anywhere in the body. I thought maybe I'd found a match, so went ahead and posted the pics.

The article had no photos, so the internet comparison picture was the closest I could possibly get for making a halfway sensible comparison. If fungus is doing this at microscopic levels then it makes sense that it would at a more macro level. These are not that big, only about 3/4 inch.

Scientists are just now discovering "rope" parasites, so what else have they NOT discovered?

..the Plasmodium species that cause malaria..
are not parasites..because they are small enough
to develop inside the red blood cells?

No doubt millions of people being destroyed
by malaria will be elated to
discover that..

...and if "small things can't be parasites"..well..
what will you call them..when obviously they
are living inside a host..growing..and multiplying..
as parasites do.

Perhaps we should call them "delusions"...that seems
to be a popular path among "medical doctors".

Forget the antimalarial drugs..what these patients need
is a stout dose of mind altering drugs.
A few hundred milligrams of "Damitall" and they'll
be skipping out of the malaria ward whistling
"zippity doo da"!
