No peeling since using Manuka Honey

I have been using Manuka honey for 3 weeks, both topically and orally. Manuka honey has antibacterial properties. Since then my lips look completely normal and there has been no peeling.
Prior to this treatment I have used multiple antibacterial/antiseptic products, most of which have improved the condition considerably.

This is a reply to # 2,119,455I believe that any raw unheated Honey would do, does not have to be any special brand, any special bees, any special geographical origin, just have to be RAW, and just because it says on the jar it is raw, it may not be always true.
Try to find a bee-keeper and get real fresh raw honey first hand.
Honey distributors often heat honey to convert it from crystal to liquid form to be able to pack it into smaller jars. Heated honey is not as good as raw.
I think using it topically is better, especially for those with leaky gut and candidiasis, or Sugar intolerance.
Honey is high on natural sugars, may mess-up people with candidiasis.

This is a reply to # 2,119,923I take manuka honey orally too, but not I do not apply it topically. I found it super sticky compared with the supermarket honey and it is hard to apply on the lips. mikesinkovich- when you apply the honey on your lips doesn't it peel off skin more easily?

This is a reply to # 2,119,961there is no skin to peel off. however early on in my antibacterial treatment i would remove the skin with my tounge. i do not believe these pieces of skin are supposed to be on the lips.

Manuka honey is actually so good you should not take it if there is nothing wrong with you I read recently, but it is great for skin problems so I see this working, thanks.

This is a reply to # 2,124,948It seems before this post that the poster had been using it for 3 weeks. Imagine 3 weeks and problems are eliminated or alleviated, either way I think people who can access the 98% antibacterial manuka, should try it! It is said that lots of treatments work in 3's so perhaps after 3 weeks you should see results, but then stop eating it and only apply it on the problematic skin. Good luck this time!
