A woman who is a friend of a friend is 46 and just now had both wisdom teeth removed at the same time. Although the sockets were sewed together, one side got infected and was causing considerable pain. She is a recovering drug addict and refused to take narcotics. Even eating soft foods like mashed potatoes caused too much pain to eat.
My friend called me and asked if I had anything to help. I took over some Colloidal Silver and some of trapper's SSKI .
The silver was for cleansing out the baddies. Years ago I had a tooth extracted and to prevent problems,after meals, I would take a small syringe and cleanse the socket with warm water, and them put a drop of Lugol's in the socket and I never had a problem. This was many years before I knew about SSKI .
She put a drop of SSKI on the infected side and said it stung for 5-10 seconds and numbed the site for 2-3 hours. She could finally eat without pain. It has been2 days now and she is healing nicely.
I also explained many more benefits of both the Iodine and the silver.

This is a reply to # 2,123,962I had a bridge removed by dentist last week and one of the teeth holding the bridge had an abcess. It could have been there for years maybe, hard to tell. I have no problem to eat because I have a vitamix. Had some lentil soup with lots of veggies and indian spices with coconut milk today that tasted really good.
Main issue is to deal with the infection. I refused the antibio therapy and just squirted more drops of Iodine either on skin where face had swollen up to eye and ear or added to drinks not really counting as I was getting more desperate. I
read from the archives that Lugol's mixed in yogourt was good for skin issues. ABSOLUTELY, tried and true!
So I might switch from oregano oil to Lugol's (I use 5 or 6%, can't really know since I made it myself and maybe added bit too much water). Thank you for posting this Corey, I am wearing two gauze patches with Iodine on infected teeth. Will let you know how it goes. THANK YOU to all on this forum for their contribution that leads the way to Health. I am learning so much from your writings, and the benefits are immensely appreciated.

Lugol's mixed with yogurt. New one on me. I will check it out.
I do purchase a lot of raw goat's milk. I let some clabber to get the whey, and I do love the curds also. Little Miss Muffet has nothing on me.
I wonder if Lugol's mixed with curds would do the same thing.

MoreThis is a reply to # 2,124,093I have to mention I make my own SCD yogourt the way Newport has been posting. Then I strain it for 24 hours. It is this strained yogourt that I use as a cold cream (!) about one teaspoon is enough and I mix in 2 or 3 drops 5% Lugol's with my finger and apply on face. This is a luxurious feeling, I swear to God. I will keep it as a habit now.
As a bonus, one can still lick his/her finger.

This is a reply to # 2,123,971I thought I could treat this using Iodine but just too much reading to be done, I'm lost... This morning upon rise I took 1 drop Magnascent 2%, 3 drops Lugol's 5% (then later in am added 5 more drops to make total of 50 mg) plus 8 drops SSKI .
Then, every hour or so I wet 2 pieces of sterile bandage and put 3 drops 5% Lugol on each and covered two teeth sockets (one on each side of mouth) where extraction occured, and kept in place for about 15 minutes before spitting all out, no intake from that. Rinse mouth with Colloidal Silver each time before and after.
The skin of my cheeks is splitting and leaking so I applied yogourt + Lugols 3 drops. Soothing. Then after having lunch. infection got on the rise again, so I took 8 more drops of SSKI , 8 drops of Lugol 5% and 2 drops Magnascent 2% (wanted only one but fell two). I'm doing Coffee-Enema as regular routine and done two up to now.
If someone knowledgeable could give me some guidance I would much appreciate as I'm now getting tired and would like to overcome this ordeal badly. Forgot to mention I am taking the supplement too. Boron, Vit D3 10,000 i.u., selenium 200 mcg, Mag Malate, ATP cofactors took 2 caps because of more Iodine than usual. Can't even think any further. Oh, I take the salt caps replacing IMAM so salt needs are covered.
I drink kombucha (organic green tea base + curcuma and herbs or seeds) half and half with carbonated water. Thank you!- Re: please help trapper/kcmo

i would take 33 drops of SSKI and keep holding the Colloidal Silver in place in the mouth.
the Lugols is gonna do what it did. its very strong.
33 drops of SSKI is a gram. you can do several grams a day.
you also might try a swish of hydrogen peroxide in between silver treatments.- Re: please help aging tree

I have a rife machine and broke the cord a couple days ago, had to order from the internet so no help to be expected from that. I appreciate the fact of having many tools when times come... and I have ample reserve of Iodine for loved ones too.

This is a reply to # 2,124,329I'm doing all this and it is working but doesn't seem to be enough. I am new at taking Lugol, just a couple weeks maybe one month max. I realized I might need the supplements after being several months on IMAM+ (15 drops SSKI ) a day when possible.
So last month, I started to really invest time in reading from the archives and liked what I was finding there. I started taking a drop or two a day Lugol 5%, sometimes adding a drop of Magnascent 2%. I was reading a lot to find the appropriate dosage of supplements but couldn't resist reading the posts from people's experiences. So much for my poor memory, everything was washed away shortly. It is how I got hooked on all those interesting testimonies.
I'm still fearing a bit because I tried a couple years ago and things turned so wrong for me. I was up to 6 drops a day of SSKI and skin issues sent me to hell in no time. For two days now I am taking 8 drops Lugol 5% 3 times a day. And today I added one gram SSKI , 3 times during the day and one more time in the middle of the night (now) and my face is burning and my right ear is aching. I need to knock down the infection... and it doesn't seem to be the case, sadly.
Yes I'm doing the peroxide (just did) and the holding of silver coll. in mouth while doing CEs. What else can I do scaring at times. Will appreciate any input. TY
EDIT: I could go back to sleep and it was good. Maybe I should just allow it more time. The clown red mask around mouth has faded a bit. Right now, I'm adding mouth soaking with my morning cocktail of Iodine for double benefit. TY- Love you Trapper.................!! aging tree

Yess it is working finally Trapper! An additional dose is needed once in a while and I can feel it when it flares up so now I know Iodine is fully in control and it is just a matter of time for complete healing.
PLUS, I have all kinds of other benefits. I am overwhelmed with joy. I hope people will open their eyes, minds about this wonderful medicine you are proning. I will always feel grateful for the knowledge and wisdom you provide here. I am preparing to help in my community. So will keep reading from the archives. No doubt I was in to learn more about Iodine and was guided here. Health for all!

This is a reply to # 2,123,962I work for a dentist. When a patient gets a dry socket like your friend had, we irrigate w/saline and then swab the socket with an 'old-timers' remedy of Iodine and creosote. Sometimes, if the bone is exposed, we pack the socket w/gauze coated in Iodine and a paste w/eugenol (smells bad but stops pain in 10 minutes). For canker sores and other soft tissue injuries, a Q-tip in Iodine (ORA5 is the product) placed on the spot for 1 minute will heal the wound quicker.
Never posted on this forum but been a long time CZ fan. Just wanted to share since I work in the field and iodine is a standard protocol we use. My dentist has been in practice 38 years and his father was also a dentist.
By the way, my dentist takes nascent drops daily and I take 10 drops Lugol's w/co-supps at least 5 days per week. If he has a patient presenting w/goiter or thyroid issues, he will tell them to research iodine (not prescribe, just suggest).
I feel blessed to have this forum to learn from.

You mentioned saline solution. I forgot to add that I did give her a liter of Himalayan pink salt SOLE (very salty water).
