What's the best way to store my kefir to keep it viable for this time?

This is a reply to # 2,127,118Leave them in the fridge with milk. Mines lasted for 3 months that way. It took about 4 days to wake them from hibernation. Just keep changing the milk everyday and they will eventually wake up and start making kefir again.
