I started a Vitamin C cleanse last night, and my period came this morning, about a week early. I know that vitamin C is used to induce menstruation, but I can't find where any other woman had this issue here on Curezone. I want to keep taking the vitamin C (and I will), but I feel like I am giving myself an unnecessarily heavy (and early) period. Ascorbate is a very powerful internal cleanser [among many other benefits]. If the internal cleansing it is causing is more than you want, just back off a bit on the dose [or quit entirely, i.e. briefly]. The beauty of this substance, is that we can vary its use according to our own current health situation.

This is a reply to # 2,143,424Vitamin C may induce menstruation.The highest dosage you can take is 1000 mg each day and ensure you drink lots of water. Vitamin C is water soluble. Accordingly too much or too little vitamin C can have an effect on your body. Too much vitamin C can cause troubled stomach, diarrhea and other gastrointestinal problems. Lessen the dosage you take during your menstruation.

This is a reply to # 2,146,253That's a nice tip given by you in terms of lesser vitamin C dosage in the days of menstruation. I would alos like to give advice regarding usage of coupelle menstruelle for sanitary protection in the days of periods. Because, in addition to lowering the intake of vitamin C, making use of menstrual cups in equally important to have proper sanitary protection.
