I don't know if any of you have seen my last topics (from a few weeks ago), but I mentioned that I was going to try L-Glutamine and Colostrum to help with the odor problem.
Anyways, at that time I went to the CVS across from me to see if they had it, but they didn't, so I settled for a colon/bowel cleanse of the same brand and have been using it ever since.

I started taking it on a weekend (I don't have school on Friday, so my last school day is Thursday), but I was good by the next Monday. I decided wait a few weeks to make sure just in case though.
I've been going to school and back without problems and my friend actually even asked if I needed a ride home. However, I don't know what would happen if I exercised before I went to school or played basketball after class. I do know that I am able to eat whatever I want at the moment (I don't mean going over-board though).
So about the L-Glutamine and Colostrum, I bought a pack a few days ago because I am still getting headaches from eating wheat/gluten/soy, and I'm speculating that I do in fact have Leaky Gut.

I can't lie though, I have been wondering why the Colon Cleanse is helping me, but not others. Reading all of the topics about Colon Cleanses not helping is why I never got one in the first place. It was 6.99 at CVS as opposed to 19.99 on the website, so I said what the heck, why not. Anyways, if you find it on sale, try it out. If not, keep reading. I have another solution.

The first time I healed myself, I never made any dietary changes. All I did was exercise and take protein shakes. I didn't make the connection back then and attributed my success to exercise alone. I was just happy to be normal again.
If you don't want to read all of it, I'll put it shortly. The whey protein and amino acids in the protein supplements healed my intestines (research whey protein and L-Glutamine and its effects on the intestines). This is why I think some if not most of us have leaky gut.
Ok, then what re-damaged my intestines? Peanuts. I'm allergic to them. I've come to the conclusion that I have always been allergic to them. However, the reactions were so small that I didn't notice them. If I try to eat peanuts now, I will become bloaty and gassy, and contract headaches and throat knots.
Back in August (when my problems started back again) I got a job at Fed Ex and was eating packs of peanuts and peanut butter filled cheese crackers 2-3 times a day during my work shift. I figured I needed a lot of protein for all the hard labor.
Also, coincidentally, the protein shake that I was taking during that time changed their formula from whey protein to pea protein (derive from peanuts). I didn't even know this at the time. I just saw the new package design and figured they got a new graphic designer. I did some research, and found the exact changes.

What makes me so sure peanuts were/are the problem? Aside from taking creatine, eating massive amounts of peanuts/peanut butter and drinking the updated protein formula is the only change I made in the month of August.
Is it possible that it's the creatine and not the peanuts? Yes, however, I doubt it was. I can't remember much from 8th grade, but I know I wasn't taking take creatine in middle school, which is when the problem first started. I did however, eat many boiled/roasted peanuts that my grandmother made and peanut butter crackers.
Keep in mind, this is a theory. I haven't bought any whey protein because I only put this all together a few weeks ago and I haven't worked out in a few months, so I haven't needed to buy any protein, but I will get some when my Colon Cleanse powder runs out (in a few days), because I need to start working out again anyways.
Remember, if you're gonna try this, buy "whey protein concentrate," not "whey protein isolate," "casein protein," or "pea protein."
I recommend these because they are what I was using when I first had my success.

Fortress is pretty much the same as Pro Elite, except that it's cheaper and tastes worse.

Did your condition happen more or less when you started to sweat, being anxious stressed? sorry for all the questions but im really happy to hear about this. I've known about cholostrum for years but didn't know it could be useful for the gut? I've already tried L-glutamine but like you said before (i think) that for it to be affective you have to take it at least 1 month to two. i was taking 1 shot 5 pills at 1000mg each so 5 grams in a day i heard some people say you need to take at least 10grams a day. How much did you take per day?

Um, na not really. I was planning on getting just colostrum and glutamine together, but CVS didn't have it so I saw a Colon Cleanse on sale and got that.
I took one scoop with about 3-4 cups of water every night before bed. I'm gonna stretch and say it took a few days, because I started taking it during the weekend. To be completely honest, I was fine by that Monday though. I even had pizza and Chinese food the next weekend and was still good the Monday after that.
I know it sounds unlikely it was that simple, but it kind of was. The only thing I could say I did, was eating a strict raw food diet (only vegetables and fruits) since about December. For others that might not be simple, but for me it was. I had smoothies for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lost a lot of muscle and weight, but it wasn't that bad. Had a lot of energy in the morning, but the odor problem wasn't completely gone until I took the colon cleanse, which leads me to believe there was an intestinal problem.
I'm almost 21 years old and the problem started in 10th grade. Though I remember a few times in 8th and 9th grade it happened, but not significantly. And yes back then, when it was first starting and I was able to smell it, it did get worse when I was nervous, which would then perpetuate itself the more I got nervous.
Even now, I get nervous and paranoid in class or on the bus, but still everything's good. Since I realize I'm just being paranoid, I just handle that by meditating and telling my self "everything's good," and "I got this," "I'm healed."

No, no. I might have wrote it confusingly. Sorry. The colostrum and l-glutamine did not help with the odor because I did not use them. I was planning on taking them to see if it helped, but I never got the chance because my CVS did not sell them, so I bought a colon cleanse. That was close to a month ago.
I only bought colostrum and l-glutamine a few days ago, because even though I smell clean again, I still get headaches if I eat those problem foods (wheat/soy/dairy). This makes me think I have leaky gut.
Are the colostrum and l-glutamine helping with that (leaky gut)? It seems to be. I had some wheat crackers and cream cheese today and only got a barely noticeable headache as opposed to the full blown one. Also, still no bloating or gas.
Also, I think the l-glutamine didn't work for you because it is not enough on its own, even if you are using "1 shot 5 pills at 1000mg each so 5 grams in a day."
Last year, the protein shake I was using contained whey protein concentrate, l-glutamine and many more amino acids essential for healing the gut/intestines.
And that was almost two years ago that I used that method, so I don't know exactly how long that took, but a few months sounds right.- Re: Im Cured, nuff said. corncob

Is this Colon Cleanses those that clear out the black tire sludge from peoples colon? or mostly for those that have constipation issues? I suspect a lot of us here might be harboring that waste like material in us that leech into the bloodstream.
Another thing im confused now is that you said you were first healed by using whey back then. Now your saying a Bowel Cleanse cured you? Could it be that the peanuts were the true cause and by flushing out the toxic waste with the Bowel Cleanse or whey to close the gut in order to prevent the waste seeping into bloodstream did the job? did you eat peanuts the very first time you healed yourself with whey only? sorry man if i sound confusing i promise to cut you the slack after this :) thanks for helping out i need to figure this madness myself as well. This is a reply to # 2,149,937Haha, na, I don't think so. At least I didn't see any black sludge in my stool. One thing I know that it does, it that it definitely compacts pretty much all the stool built up. On the package it says it strengthens, tones and hydrates the colon muscles. And, I'm inclined to believe that it does just that.
It does this to such an extant that it becomes hard to let it all out due to the stool being so big. Also, the stool becomes so perfectly compacted that I usually don't need to wipe after. Sorry, t.m.i., I know, but just remember to drink at least 3-4 cups of water though.
Dude, I really don't know. The first time I was healed was in 2012, and back then I really didn't know why I was healed. I just thought it was because I was exercising, so I just kept exercising. I didn't realize it was the whey protein (along with the l-glutamine and other animo acids inside the whey protein supplement) healing my gut.
Back then I didn't even know I was allergic to peanuts, because I wasn't eating them as much, until I got hired at Fed Ex (in August 2013) which is when the problem started again. Also, this is around the time when the company changed the formula (sometime around the summer of 2013) from whey protein to pea protein (derived from peanuts).
I put the pieces to the puzzle together a few weeks ago (January 2014), but I was not able to try this method again, because the CVS did not have what I was looking for (l-glutamine, colostrum and whey protein), which is why I got the colon cleanse.
However, I was able to buy l-glutamine and colostrum a few days ago. And I'm only using them because I read that they cure leaky gut. I did not get any whey protein though because I already spent $60 on the other two. So the whey protein will have to wait until my next check. - Re: Im Cured, nuff said. afewmoreEXP

The bottle is contained with about a months worth, so I've been done taking it for about a week. I immediately went from a raw food diet to a regular unhealthy after I realized the Bowel Cleanse worked, so if things did happen to go back to the way they were, it'd be my fault.
Still, I seem to be doing well. Even after eating pizza and Chinese food almost twice a week. I am still slightly paranoid though. Constantly paying attention to my surroundings. Lol, I gotta say, this paranoia would probably do me some good if I was in a war.
I'm gonna get some more tomorrow and just start doing cleanses every few weeks just to be sure though. One thing I should mention, even after a week being done with taking the cleanse, my bowel movements are still nearly as immaculate as they were when I was taking it.

This is a reply to # 2,151,658Congratulations on being cured! Thank you so much for responding not a lot of people come back here once they find out what works for them. A year ago I was doing PB shakes and a vegan diet and that helped cure me but I immediately went back to a terrible diet (Ate a 16 pack of white castles in one day) and it came back in full force. It has been hard for me to go back to a vegan diet and I believe the PB shakes make me smell worse so I have decided to stop taking them. Plus it seems pointless if you have a trashy diet.
So I have decided to just spend a month not taking anything and sticking to a strict vegan diet of majorly raw fruits and veggies.
I know, I know its not about me but I just have one question: How long into your diet change did you start to use product supplementation?

I was doing a raw food diet since about December. And I started taking the Bowel Cleanse in the middle of January.
I didn't expect the Bowel Cleanse to work, and I wast even planning of getting it because I didn't think that was the problem. Apparently it was.
I only got it because CVS didn't have what I needed (glutamine and colostrum).
