Those candida sufferers with severe cases must target the colon. Taking oral antifungals will do nothing to those candida colonies glued to the lower intestinal walls. The infection is in the lumen adhered to the mucus layer that cover the intestinal walls.
You need a liquid solution, a poisoned liquid solution able to irragate the intestinal walls to soft and remove the infection.
The water, the antifungal substances, and the persistence doing it every day, will eradicate those fungal colonies soon or later.
I have proved it myself doing it this way. Enemas with clear water to clean the colon, first. You can add sodium bicarbonate to the water enemas, a teaspoon by liter of water, 1/4 of teaspoon of Borax by liter of water, if you want too.(please, NO Boric Acid, it isn't the same as Borax )
When the colon be clean, prepare a solution of 6 ounces of water with 1/4 of teaspoon of Nystatin powder. Inject this solution in the colon, let it goes deep changing your body position several times. Create, use your imagination, take advantage of the gravity and keep this solution inside of you until the next day that you repeat the same process.
The infection is in the cecum, transverse colon, and the lower parts. An intestinal candidiasis can affect any intestinal part but the colon is the worse. Don't think that using oral capsules or tablets you are going to remove infected mucus attached to the intestinal walls. It is a dirty pipe and you need water. You need to empty the pipe, clean the walls, and to apply a disinfectant to those walls . Do it and you will see your life change to a normal health any time.

This is a reply to # 2,184,216I also have started taking high dose nystatin together with nystatin enemas (1/2 tsp in 2 cups water) this week. The thrush on my tongue is finally decreasing and for the first time in a year I feel as though I am returning to being alive (as opposed to walking dead). This is after I tried everything--EVERYTHING--else including a strict candida diet for almost six months now.

Your testimony is the reason why I wrote about it. This information doesn't exist and people are suffering in the same way I was more than 5 years of my life. There are thousands of dollars spent on websites and Candida Forum s to speak about the same. The same thing going in circle and people still sick. I learned the hard way but thanks God I see the light at the end of the tunnel. There isn't anything wrong attacking the fungus both way, orally and rectally, but without the enemas, there isn't hope. This is the simple reason why people are spending years and a fortune to cure this miserable illness without results. The treatment must cover all the intestinal track but it is vital to target the colon directly. I know what you have done since I am here since you began to post time ago. You will win, trust me. It may takes some time, but you will.

You should also target the liver for the long term results.
And, Iodine may help too.
If you don't, you can easily get bad candida back.
Killing it today gives no immunity for tomorrow.
What gives immunity for tomorow is you liver, and your bile flow.
I fixed my candida problem 15 years ago by liver flushing.
About 1 year of liver flushing, every 2-3 weeks one flush.
I can still get the problem if I don't take care of what I eat, but as long as my diet is good (home made, no sugar, no preservatives ), I am 100% healthy.

This is a reply to # 2,184,241I do flush my liver (just started again after one year). I believe that Liver Flushing is 100% necessary to getting back to good health. Otherwise the poisons from the fungus just keep getting recycled into the bile and the cycle continues forever.

How have the Nystatin enemas been treating you? I have had much success with food grade h202 since I could not find nystatin.
I do peroxide enemas and take it orally. I have seen Tons of Candida come out.
I finally got nystatin from a trip to Latin America but am unsure as how much to use. I found the liquid suspension 100,000 ui/ml and the pills which are 500,000 ui/ml; I could not find the powder. How much would you recommend in an enema and how many times a day?
I also have severe oral thrush. I have a terrible coating around my tongue that does not go away. I've gargled with salt, I oil pull with coconut oil, I gargle with peroxide, chew neem twigs, neem tooth paste etc. Are the nystatin enemas curing the oral thrush for you on its own? I think since I started hurting them bad with the peroxide my sinuses have gotten worse. I don't know if Candida is similar to parasites that move to a different area if they are getting attacked.
I also get never ending bouts of sinus infections. It must be fungal because I get this terrible smell in my nose. I always get ear infections, swollen tonsils, throat and nose, I think this is all Candida related. Whenever I've taken anti-biotics I get better for 1 month but it never goes away fully, then it comes back at me pretty hard.
I appreciate any advice you , Jorge, or anyone else who has used nystatin before, have for me.
Do either of you take anything for the bio films? I'm taking the Kirkland biofilm defense. Don't know much about brands of this stuff. Is it safe to gargle to break up bio films in the mouth? Thanks!

It's interesting, I have done so many enemas over this past year--probably a hundred total--and every time the same thing happened: an hour or so after the enema I would expel two or three candida cotton balls.
No matter how many or how much herbal antifungals I took, the candida just kept growing. And I took a lot (see list below).

This is a reply to # 2,184,317Been there done that. I have a quart of Lugol's sitting in my kitchen cabinet. Used it for many months. While I can't say that Iodine was completely useless, it did not produce any benefit for my fungus overgrowth that I could tell.
Nystatin has been 100x more effective in less than one week than Iodine was in a year.
As for my immune system, I know the cause. For some reason caffeine in general, and coffee in particular, had a devastating effect on my immune system. If I drink a large cup of coffee every morning for a few months I will have a full blown candida overgrowth guaranteed. I know this for sure now because I've experienced it twice (including once after I basically cured candida the first time).Advertisement

Please, Grizz, stop posting statements like this when you don't know how the immune system is affected by CRC.
I have dedicated hundreds of hours to study and learn the immune part involved with this illness.
There isn't any medical evidence lack of Iodine is the cause of this syndrome. There are many aspects of the immune system linked to this infection. You are posting references written on websites promoting a topic or looking for profit. This isn't medical evidence neither have any scientific value. The research about chronic candiasis is long and the first thing you have to do is to eliminate the organism from your mucus membranes. Chronic antigenemia caused by the same CANDIDA is the #1 cause of immune suppression candida sufferers have. It is the same pathogen that is able to suppress the necessary immune response to eradicate it. I have written about it many times here and other forums. If you are fascinated with Iodine, that is ok, but please, if you can not support your statements with scientific evidence, stop doing it, less telling people they will continue going in circle because you don't have any idea what are you talking about. Candida sufferers have a battle to fight to get this kind of advice on a health forum.
Iodine isn't any cure to this syndrome, neither as an immune booster nor as an antifungal.

You have your approaches of fighting Candida directly. I support you on this issue.
However, you should ALSO be focusing on boosting the immune system first. It is our immune system that is intended to kill pathogens & fungus.
I suggest you post your scientific research on boosting the immune system. You are totally silent on this vital subject. WHY?
Trust me, I have far more success with supplements to boost the immune system than you have with supplements to kill Candida.

This is a reply to # 2,184,315Vitamin D3 was very helpful for me but did nothing as far as eliminating candida. My personal feeling is that if you already have a candida overgrowth, having sufficient vitamin d level is necessary to get better, but by itself it will do nothing to eliminate candida.

You are correct. Vitamin D by itself is only 1 component required to boost the immune system. But you must take enough vitamin D3 Geltabs to boost your blood level to 70 ng/ml.
For most folks, this requires 10,000 IU daily.
I am not arguing against your tips to elmininate Candida. We must do all 3
1) boost our immune system
2) and take steps to kill Candida
3) and restore healthy gut flora to Candida ratio
IMO, this forum has been going in circles for 11 years because everyone overlooks the importance of boosting the immune system.
