You guys wouldn't believe what I have to put up with around here: My dear mother-in-law who cooks like Betty Crocker is backing delicious German cakes downstairs, my husbands dinner (lasagna) is warming up in our kitchen, and I just cleared the table from my kids' dinner and there were these cute little leftover bites of french toast on one of the plates. I probably don't need to tell you that polishing those little leftovers used to be standard procedure. But here I am about to squeeze another lemon and make my final drink of the day. I should share an awesome way to make the lemonade to break up the monotony.
I throw 10 or 12 ice cubes in the blender, add the lemonade concentrate and some water and pepper and blend until it reaches Smoothie consistancy. Then I add about a half cup sparkling water. I hope I am not negating any of the good by drinking it with ice or mineral water but the taste is OUT OF THIS WORLD and I found I can take more cayenne pepper in it when it's so cold.
Any thoughts on if that is OK? I hope so because it's the highpoint of my day.
Cheers,
Mooly
