I think I have liver flukes.. I've been finding these suspicious tomato skin-looking things in my stool after enemas. What are the best meds to take for liver flukes?

This is a reply to # 2,202,013Ugh.. I know that feeling! My gallbladder turned to stones in 2009 and I tried desperately to flush for 4 years and then it started to rupture... I always had that same feeling and my gallbladder would go into spasms trying to squeeze out bile. After the surgery, no matter what I ate just sat in a lump in my stomach. I didn't feel hunger for years.. only recently did my appetite come back and I started feeling "clean" on the inside. Tonight I stuffed myself with pizza hut (baf, I know...) and I'm shocked it had no effect on me. I even had my pizza with bacon.
Are you doing any candida cleansing or anything other than water enemas? I don't know much about flukes, but either they can also live in the intestines or there is also an intestinal variety.

That's a pretty broad range protocol too.. should kill just about anything.
Albendazole will make you get rid of a tooooon of junk in there too.

Ooh, thank you for the link! I'm not sure which parasite it is, all I know is they sometimes look like rolled up red tomato skin and other times they're triangular in shape.
As for the candida problem, I tried taking nystatin, and it worked at first (a long white string came out and my yeast infection started clearing up but the nystatin suddenly stopped having any effect and now it's back stronger than before :/- Re: Best Meds for Liver Fluke? username7414

This is a reply to # 2,202,266Ughh... I read that a lot about the candida... how stuff stops working and it comes back with a vengeance. I had no idea I had so much until the albendazole killed off massive amounts.. I've been off meds for a while and I'm still seeing the stringy things. I don't know if its left over die off or continued die off or what. I'm sort of afraid that I opened Pandora's box now with the candida.
The stuff you describe is how a lot of people describe the flukes... they seem to be almost common... icu's protocols are designed to hammer out the most severe infections and as long as you have no pre-existing liver conditions, shouldn't do any harm. The die off varies a lot.. some get it instantly and some get it days later. Just be prepared for the "wtf" effect when you go to the bathroom.
Have you ever done a liver/gall bladder cleanse/flush? That might be a good idea to do first to see if that makes you feel better or less congested and might free up your liver to help with die off. Even if you don't have a heavy parasite load, the meds some how seem to kill off the candida and unknown stuff. I wish there were better studies done to explain how it affects the body's eco system as a whole.
Besides still seeing the yeast, I feel as if the last round of meds (doing icu's protocol) cleared up more than just the parasite infection. Like it balanced my body some how. I can't explain how, but it knocked out stuff like allergies and asthma I had since I was a kid and hormonal Acne on my chin that I'd get once a month. The little annoying stuff that you just accept as unknown cause. Now I just have to keep up with a decent diet.

This is a reply to # 2,202,356I've never done a liver/gallbladder flush; to be honest, I'm not sure if the flushes work the way people say it does.
I think there's a connection between the candida and parasites. Maybe the parasites weaken the immune system enough to allow candida overgrowth to occur. So once you start eradicating the parasites, the immune system is no longer suppressed and other things like candida and bacterial overgrowth start coming out.- Re: Best Meds for Liver Fluke? username7414

There's definitely a connection.. I wondered if the candida may have fought against the parasites because whenever I would see whipworms, they were almost always tangled up in candida blobs and roots.. like they were trapped. only once did I ever see a lone worm on its own.. every other time it was a tangled mess. It could have been how it was all pushed out too.. They could also live IN it too or it could be beneficial to them some how. MoreThis is a reply to # 2,202,644I just read an article that someone on here sent me that said some fungus feeds on worms. So that makes sense to me. The worms die the candida has a feast. I thought it was the other way around.

This is a reply to # 2,202,013I was afraid of the coffee enema at first. However the first time I did it it bought out gobs and gobs of junk that most likely blocking up my liver and gall bladder.

Recommend the Valbazen cattle suspension vs Albendazole tablets. Provides more consistent uptake rate & bioavailability. Available on E-Bay & other sites noted in protocol.
Recommend Praziquantel tablets vs stuffing Praziquantel powder into gelcaps. At E-Bay, enter into search box for all categories: praziquantel 600mg. Listings show for aquarium/animal use but contain same formulation as human version. This enables buying the med without an Rx.
If you have pre-existing liver problems, recommend taking these meds in 7 day cycles rather than 14 days. Rest liver for 1 week between cycles. This method reduces the impact on the liver but still keeps pace with the life cycle of parasites.
For all folks taking parasite meds, recommend the following supplements & vitamins. These support body systems in processing the meds & eliminating toxins & die-off:

Continue taking your other vitamins & supplements during treatment with fluke meds. Take them at different times of the day, apart from the meds.
Skip all herbal & OTC parasite remedies as these products counteract & remove parasite meds from your system.
